Berger Kahn is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Case Manager to work in our Employment Defense and Insurance Coverage practice groups. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.RESPONSIBILITIES:&middot; Conflicts Check - Create conflicts list for each new file, noting relationships or relevant parties.&middot; File Review &amp; Setup &ndash; Determine file type and analyze case details.&middot; Attorney Workload Assessment - Review each attorney&rsquo;s weekly and upcoming caseload as needed. Maintain accurate records within case management software.&middot; Coordinate communication between attorneys, support staff, and administrators - Monitor workloads of staff and communicate with admin regarding any necessary changes. Monitor attorney workload and make changes to case assignment as needed.&middot; Track court deadlines, hearings, and filingsSKILLS:&middot; Detail oriented and highly organized&middot; Proficiency with office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Adobe, Clio, etc.)&middot; Strong communication skills&middot; Motivated self-starter&middot; Previous law firm experience (preferred)PAY RANGE: $21-25 per hourLOCATIONS: Lake Forest &amp; VenturaJob Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
