Position SummaryBES Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide high-level administrative and clerical support to attorneys within the Office of the General Counsel. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in managing legal documentation, filings, and confidential communications.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform electronic filings with various courts and properly manage electronic documents for retrieval.</li><li>Prepare and maintain case files, including pleadings, correspondence, exhibits, and other materials as requested by attorneys.</li><li>Provide administrative and clerical support, including document drafting, legal filings, and case management.</li><li>Manage correspondence and maintain organized client files.</li><li>Ensure timely submission of pleadings and court documents.</li><li>Preserve and protect client confidences and all privileged communications for the Office of the General Counsel.</li></ul>Required Education<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li></ul>Required Experience &amp; Skills<ul><li>Four (4) years of experience as a secretary in a law firm.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in business writing, preparing legal correspondence, and working with legal formats.</li><li>Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.</li></ul>Additional Requirements:<ul><li>Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM &ndash; 4:30 PM.</li><li>Must have valid identification and be able to pass WMATA&rsquo;s background screening requirements.</li></ul>Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekWork Location: In person
