Afternoon Infant Teacher (2:00&ndash;6:00 PM) Best Beginnings Preschool &ndash; Cookeville, TNWe are a small, high-quality preschool seeking a dependable, calm, and attentive teacher to support our infant classroom in the afternoons.This position is ideal for someone who:<ul><li>enjoys a steady, hands-on work pace</li><li>takes initiative without waiting to be told every step</li><li>is comfortable caring for infants in a structured environment</li><li>values consistency, cleanliness, and calm interactions</li></ul>Position Details:<ul><li>Hours: 2:00 PM &ndash; 6:00 PM (Monday&ndash;Friday)</li><li>Primary responsibility: Infant classroom coverage in the afternoon</li><li>Additional support: light closing duties and assisting other classrooms as needed</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality</li><li>Ability to stay actively engaged throughout the shift (this is not a sit-and-observe role)</li><li>Warm but structured approach with children</li><li>Willingness to learn and follow established routines as part of a team</li></ul>Preferred (but not required):<ul><li>Experience in licensed childcare</li><li>Early Childhood Education coursework or student status</li><li>CDA, Associate's Degree or higher in ECED</li></ul>Pay: Pay is based on education level attained and experience in licensed childcare settings.
