Job Title: Elementary or Middle School Math and/or English Tutor Position Type: Part-Time, Year-Round (In-Person) Location: Hilliard, OHOverview: We are seeking Math and/or English Tutors to work with elementary and middle school students in a small-group, in-person setting. All curriculum, lesson plans, and materials are provided. This is a year-round, part-time position with a flexible schedule.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Facilitate small-group tutoring sessions in Math and/or English</li><li>Deliver instruction using provided curriculum and materials</li><li>Explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs</li><li>Support homework completion and reinforce classroom learning</li><li>Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed</li><li>Provide constructive feedback to students and parents</li><li>Foster a positive and structured learning environment</li><li>Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Education, Math, English, or a related field</li><li>Experience tutoring or teaching Math and/or English</li><li>Teaching license (completed or in progress) required</li><li>Substitute or retired teaching experience preferred</li><li>Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills</li><li>Patient and adaptable teaching style</li></ul>Work Schedule:<ul><li>Monday and Wednesday: 5:00 PM &ndash; 8:00 PM</li><li>Saturday: 2:00 PM &ndash; 5:00 PM</li></ul>If any of the listed days or times are not feasible, availability may be discussed. Please note that work hours are subject to change during the summer.Pay: From $17.00 per hourWork Location: In person
