About Us Best Dental Spa is a modern, growing dental practice in Hoffman Estates, IL, led by prosthodontist Dr. Dhara Patel. We provide comprehensive general, cosmetic, implant, and specialty services in a friendly, patient-focused environment. As our orthodontic patient base continues to grow, we are looking for a visiting orthodontist to join our team on a recurring basis.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Visiting Orthodontist to provide orthodontic care at our office once a month for 4&ndash;8 hours, depending on patient volume. This role is ideal for someone who wants to add a consistent monthly orthodontic day without additional overhead.<ul><li>Schedule: 1 day per month (Tuesday or mutually agreed weekday)</li><li>Hours: 4&ndash;8 hours per visit</li><li>Compensation: 50% of collections</li><li>Status: 1099 Independent Contractor (or W2 if preferred)</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive orthodontic evaluations and develop treatment plans</li><li>Provide and manage braces and/or clear aligner therapy</li><li>Manage active orthodontic cases and ensure high-quality clinical outcomes</li><li>Review records (X-rays, scans, photos) and maintain accurate charting</li><li>Educate patients and parents about treatment options and progress</li><li>Coordinate interdisciplinary care with our prosthodontic and general dentistry team</li><li>Follow all practice protocols, OSHA, and infection control standards</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>DDS/DMD degree and completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency</li><li>Illinois dental license and orthodontic specialty license in good standing</li><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred</li><li>CPR/BLS and DEA certification</li><li>Experience with both braces and clear aligner therapy</li><li>Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>50% of collections compensation model</li><li>Growing orthodontic patient base with strong internal referrals</li><li>Fully trained front desk and clinical team to assist with records, scheduling, and follow-up</li><li>Modern dental facility with digital technology</li><li>Flexible monthly schedule with the potential to expand hours</li><li>Supportive, professional work environment</li></ul>Pay: $1,500.00 - $4,000.00 per dayWork Location: In person
