We&rsquo;re looking for a dedicated and energetic Assistant Center Manager to support our Center Manager and help lead our team in creating a safe, fun, and thriving environment for furry friends and their owners.As Assistant Center Manager, you&rsquo;ll work hand-in-paw with the Center Manager to keep the facility running seamlessly, ensuring happy pets, delighted clients, and a motivated team. Here&rsquo;s how you&rsquo;ll contribute:Collaborative Leadership:<ul><li>Partner with the Center Manager to oversee daily operations and maintain Best Friends Pet Care standards of pet care.</li><li>Step up as a confident leader in the Center Manager&rsquo;s absence, ensuring smooth operations.</li></ul>Operational Excellence:<ul><li>Ensure the facility meets and exceeds cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.</li><li>Assist with inventory management, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and expenses are managed.</li><li>Support payroll processes, scheduling, and day-to-day administrative tasks.</li></ul>Team Support:<ul><li>Assist with recruiting, training, mentoring and shadowing team members to ensure top-notch care and service.</li><li>Help create work schedules that balance business needs with team well-being.</li><li>Promote ongoing professional development and positive morale among staff.</li></ul>Client and Community Engagement:<ul><li>Build trust and strong relationships with pet parents, ensuring they feel confident placing their pet in our care.</li><li>Handle client inquiries, feedback, and requests with professionalism and enthusiasm.</li><li>Collaborate on community outreach, promotions, and marketing efforts to grow our presence.</li></ul>Pet Care Supervision:<ul><li>Oversee pet boarding, daycare, and grooming services to ensure pets are happy, healthy, and safe.</li><li>Monitor pet behavior and address any concerns promptly and compassionately.</li><li>Keep detailed records of pet care, incidents, and daily routines.</li></ul>Why You&rsquo;ll Love This Role:<ul><li>Work in an action-packed environment filled with wagging tails, happy barks, and purring companions (must be able to lift large dogs).</li><li>Join a collaborative team where your ideas and contributions will make a real impact with an employee-owned company (ESOP).</li><li>Help lead a thriving facility where no two days are the same.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Animal Handling: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
