Job Title: Assistant Payroll Manager

Reports To: Payroll Manager

Job Summary: Compiles payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties:

Essential job duties and responsibilities:
<ul><li>
Compiles payroll data such as hours worked and piecework information from timecards and other records.</li><li>
Record data concerning transfer of employees between departments.</li><li>
Enters data into computer for computation of wages and deductions for payroll records.</li><li>
Reviews wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.</li><li>
Prepare weekly and monthly reports.</li><li>
Be able to take on responsibilities to ensure timeliness and accuracy of Payroll.</li><li>
Work with UKG and understand the payroll system and how the setup effects different processes in HR.</li><li>
Correctly Set up new hires to be taxed and paid correctly</li><li>
All other duties as as assigned</li></ul>

Job Requirement:
<ul><li>
Candidate must be self-motivated</li><li>
possess strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>
Ability to work with and maintain confidential material</li><li>
Have general PC knowledge</li><li>
Ability to work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner.</li></ul>

Education or experience required: High School or Equivalent
