We provide small-group instruction in homework help, test prep, STEAM, debate/speech, and core academic subjects in a supportive, student-focused environment.Position Overview We are looking for energetic, responsible, and creative tutors who are passionate about helping students succeed. We are currently hiring teachers who can support students in:<ul><li>Elementary Math (Grades 3&ndash;6)</li><li>Reading Comprehension</li><li>Grammar &amp; Writing</li><li>Middle School / High School Math</li><li>Science instruction is a plus</li></ul>Ideal candidates are confident teaching upper-level math for older students, including subjects such as:<ul><li>Pre-Algebra</li><li>Algebra 1</li><li>Geometry</li><li>Algebra 2</li><li>Higher-level math is a plus</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree strongly preferred</li><li>Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience preferred</li><li>Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach clearly and effectively</li><li>Dynamic teaching style with creativity, initiative, and classroom presence</li><li>Excellent communication and rapport-building skills</li><li>Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with students</li><li>Strong punctuality, reliability, and professionalism</li><li>Must be able to pass a background check</li><li>Must be available to pick up students using the academy van when needed</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Teach core lessons using our curriculum</li><li>Lead small group classes of approximately 4&ndash;12 students</li><li>Support students with academic progress and problem-solving</li><li>Track and document student performance</li><li>Provide individualized support when needed</li><li>Help create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM &ndash; 12:00 PM</li><li>12&ndash;18 hours per week</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>$21&ndash;$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications</li></ul>Location In person 307 N Berry St, Brea, CAIf you enjoy working with students and want to make a meaningful impact in education, we would love to hear from you.Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: In person
