Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated On-Site Manager to oversee our 24-hour, 5-6 day a week operation. The manager will work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with on-call responsibilities if the customer is operational. This role requires a hands-on approach managing a fleet of 23 tractors and drivers, and 100 trailers.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Manage and coordinate schedules for drivers and equipment.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with the customer, acting as the primary point of contact for any operational issues or concerns.</li><li>Monitor and manage the performance of drivers, providing guidance and support as needed.</li><li>Conduct minor equipment troubleshooting to help reduce maintenance expenses.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure all vehicles are in optimal working condition.</li><li>Handle any emergency situations that may arise, including after hours.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.</li><li>Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry, particularly in management or supervisory roles.</li><li>Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to perform minor equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed</li></ul>If this role seems like it could be a good fit for you, we look forward to hearing from you!Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
