Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure meets safety standards, functions efficiently, and adheres to project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilize your mechanical knowledge, and contribute to high-quality building solutions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites or during remodeling projects.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble plumbing components.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance.</li><li>Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to coordinate project activities smoothly.</li><li>Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical problems related to plumbing or HVAC systems using your mechanical knowledge and field service experience.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of pipe installation, repair, and maintenance.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.</li><li>Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and schematics for precise work.</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC systems, remodeling processes, and general maintenance practices.</li><li>Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and heavy lifting techniques.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.</li><li>Handyman experience or carpentry skills are a plus.</li><li>Join us if you&rsquo;re eager to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact the success of our projects!</li></ul>Pay: $31.59 - $45.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Antigo, WI 54409
