About UsBest Ring POS provides point-of-sale solutions for some of the largest music festivals and live events in the U.S. We partner with organizers, vendors, and sponsors to deliver seamless payments, reporting, and customer experiences. We seek a creative and organized Contract Marketing Coordinator to support our growing marketing needs.Role OverviewThis is a contract role (approx. $2,500/month for 20 to 25 hours per week) focused on managing email marketing, social media, and content creation. You&rsquo;ll also be expected to travel to 2 to 4 music festivals per year (yes we do ACL) to gather on-site photos, videos, and stories for marketing campaigns. While the role averages 20&ndash;30 hours per week, flexibility is important &mdash; hours may increase slightly around festival weeks and decrease during quieter periods.Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and execute email marketing campaigns for customers and prospects</li></ul><ul><li>Manage and grow social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) including content calendars, posting, and engagement</li></ul><ul><li>Create and distribute quarterly newsletters to customers and potential customers</li></ul><ul><li>Develop creative marketing content such as case studies, blog posts, and event recaps</li></ul><ul><li>Capture on-site content (photos, videos, interviews) at select music festivals (4&ndash;5 annually)</li></ul><ul><li>Track performance of campaigns and provide insights for continuous improvement</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of marketing, communications, or social media experience (contract or freelance experience welcome)</li></ul><ul><li>Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot)</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later)</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to capture engaging content at live events (basic photography/videography skills a plus)</li></ul><ul><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently</li></ul>Nice-to-Haves<ul><li>Proven social media experience (examples of professional or personal pages managed)</li></ul><ul><li>Background in live events, entertainment, or festival industries</li></ul><ul><li>Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)</li></ul>Contract Details<ul><li>Hours: 20 to 25 hours per week (with flexibility around event weeks)</li></ul><ul><li>Rate: $2,500/month</li></ul><ul><li>Travel Requirement: 2+ music festivals per year (all expenses covered by Best Ring)</li></ul><ul><li>Flexible remote work schedule outside of event travel</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit your resume, along with examples of email campaigns, social media content, or newsletters you&rsquo;ve created.
