 Description
 
 
 
 Betches is looking for a Junior Designer with a sharp design eye and a passion for creating compelling visual content. This role can lean either toward static design or motion graphics, depending on your strengths, but what&rsquo;s essential is a strong visual sensibility over technical know-how.
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll work closely with the Associate Director of Graphics and Animation to support a wide range of design needs across branded and original content. From thumbnails to custom series graphics, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to build your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
 
 
 
 Roles &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design static and/or motion graphics across platforms and formats
 </li>
 <li>
 Support in creating 3000x3000 episode cover art and YouTube graphics
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with thumbnails, bugs/logos, and custom graphics for original series
 </li>
 <li>
 Reformat or resize videos and assets as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Source design materials and prep assets (e.g., cutting out images for use)
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in creating .mogrt files and handling tweaks or revisions
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to ideation and help develop creative solutions for new visuals
 </li>
 <li>
 Help build design assets for podcast templates and other brand materials
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 1&ndash;2 years of design experience, ideally in digital media or branded content
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong design instincts and attention to detail&mdash;you care about clean, thoughtful work
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds and shifting priorities
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborative and proactive&mdash;you take initiative but also love being part of a team
 </li>
 <li>
 Up to date on visual trends and excited to experiment with new styles
 </li>

 Compensation
 
 
 
 The hourly rate for this position is $30 from 10-15 hours a week.
