As a UC Onboarding and Compliance Specialist, you&rsquo;ll help carry this mission forward and make a meaningful impact every day.</p>

How Your Role Makes a Difference</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Collect, file, and audit online new hire documents for the respective programmatic employees from hiring managers and employee, while maintaining employee personnel files;</li>
<li>Promptly follow-up with hiring managers and new hires for new hire document collection needs and alerting both parties on past due documentation;</li>
<li>Provide necessary information and resources such as Orientation Training Schedule, New Hire Resource Guide, to facilitate a successful transition for new employees and ensure a smooth onboarding process;</li>
<li>Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation within the defined procedural timeline, while ensuring collaboration with key collaborators;</li>
<li>Coordinate new hire orientation sessions with orientation presenters, keeping them updated on scheduled attendees, along with the schedule;</li>
<li>Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions in a timely manner;</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Onboarding Team, RTPs, hiring managers, and other key collaborators to ensure a smooth transition for new employees;</li>
<li>Monitor the progress and integration of new hires, identifying any barriers to a successful onboarding experience and providing support as needed;</li>
<li>Effectively collaborate with hiring manager to assign an onboarding ambassador for the incoming new hire for the first 90 days of employment;</li>
<li>Train the onboarding ambassador on the purpose and expectations of their role as listed in the process guidelines;</li>
<li>Plan and coordinate the logistics of new employee onboarding, including scheduling and preparing/updating materials for distribution;</li>
<li>Review and identify areas of opportunities for news hires within the 30/60/90 day satisfaction report to ensure their initial needs are met and follow up accordingly;</li>
<li>Compile orientation evaluation data results and forward results to direct manager;</li>
<li>Effectively administer special onboarding projects developed for new hires;</li>
<li>Provide audit support for the UC program, by responding to requests for a list of missing documents for licensing audits, printing documents, and preparing employee files for audit;</li>
<li>Assists with collecting the respective programmatic terminated files from branches;</li>
<li>Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department;</li>

</ul>
<p><b>What Will Make You Successful</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s level degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent field of study from an accredited college preferred;</li>
<li>At least one (1) year of vocational experience in a similar role;</li>
<li>Experience in onboarding and recruitment with a proven track record of successful onboarding processes and employee retention;</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills to manage and streamline the onboarding process efficiently;</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with new employees and establish a positive onboarding experience;</li>
<li>Attention to detail and organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously;</li>
<li>Must possess a strong attention to detail with exception problem solving and analytical skills;</li>
<li>Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks;</li>
<li>Exercise a high level of confidentiality;</li>
<li>Work well under pressure and adaptable to change;</li>
<li>Working knowledge of HRIS systems (UltiPro preferred);</li>
<li>Highly motivated and self-managed;</li>
<li>Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;</li>
<li>Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;</li>
<li>Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage;</li>
<li>Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;</li>

UC Onboarding and Compliance Specialist - Remote Position

As a Foster Care Case Manager, you&rsquo;ll be part of a foster parent&rsquo;s Bethany team, supporting them and the child in their care. You&rsquo;ll train, equip, and help connect foster parents to community resources to meet the child&rsquo;s needs.</p>
<p><b>
How Your Role Makes a Difference</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide case management services to children in foster care;</li>
<li>Attend and testify at court hearings, as necessary;</li>
<li>Maintain effective contact with attorneys, therapists, CASA workers, and/or other providers;</li>
<li>Maintain current and accurate client records, case files, record notes, and medical records;</li>
<li>Comply with the reporting guidelines established by the organization, Department of Child Services (DCS), and the court, while submitting all required reports in a timely manner;</li>
<li>Provide services that empower clients and adhere to the organization&rsquo;s standards of ethical Practice;</li>
<li>Coordinate and facilitate the completion of the treatment plan, and maintain contact with all providers to include attending child and family team meetings;</li>
<li>Meet with foster parents at least monthly to assist with and ensure the appropriate care is given to foster children;</li>
<li>Investigate child abuse and neglect in accordance with program expectations and guidelines;</li>
<li>Recommend whether the parental rights should be terminated in a timely manner that ensure the safety of the child;</li>
<li>Participate in on-call system and schedule, as necessary;</li>
<li>Assess the safety and appropriateness of the placement on an ongoing basis using child welfare principles and social work best practices;</li>
<li>Attend weekly meetings with supervisor to consult on cases, and to review case plan and direction;</li>
<li>Partner with the Licensing and Placement Specialist regarding foster parent complaints;</li>
<li>Keep abreast of community resources and refer foster families for support, as needed;</li>
<li>Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services;</li>

<p><b>What Will Make You Successful</b></p>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college;</li>
<li>At least one (1) year of prior case management experience in child and family services;</li>
<li>Hold or be willing to obtain state certifications as required by the program;</li>
<li>Must have a broad knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and methodology of human service as acquired through a Bachelor&rsquo;s level degree;</li>
<li>Demonstrate an understanding of the effects that separation and loss, neglect, physical and sexual abuse has on a child;</li>
<li>Knowledge of state, community and agency resources;</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills;</li>
<li>Demonstrated clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills;</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality;</li>
<li>Adheres to all agency and departmental safety procedures including reporting any unsafe practices, equipment and environment, and takes an active role in correcting the unsafe practice, equipment or environment through proper notification channels;</li>

How Your Role Makes a Difference</b></p>

<li>Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the treatment team to discuss clients&rsquo; needs and treatment plans</li>
<li>Present client social history at internal and external team meetings, including the youth&rsquo;s journey to the U.S., exploitation and/or trafficking concerns, family history, psychological history, academic history, and identified issues or behaviors that warrant treatment</li>
<li>Serve as a subject matter expert on DHS and UC policy and procedures for intake, reporting, and permanency (post-adoption) planning</li>
<li>Attend and testify at court hearings, as necessary</li>
<li>Provide services that empower clients and adhere to the organization&rsquo;s standards of ethical practice</li>
<li>Meet with clients at least weekly to ensure safety and support goal progression</li>
<li>Provide reunification services to potential sponsors in a timely manner</li>
<li>Provide Spanish-to-English interpretation for clients, as needed</li>
<li>Provide transportation to clients, as needed</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in compliance with DHS, ORR, and Bethany&rsquo;s documentation and reporting requirements</li>
<li>Attend weekly meetings with supervisor to consult on cases and review case plans and treatment direction</li>
<li>Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services</li>

<p><b>What Will Make You Successful</b></p>

<div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, or a Social Services field from an accredited college</li>
<li>Child welfare and/or case management experience strongly preferred</li>
<li>Bilingual Spanish and English</li>
<li>Broad knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and methodologies of social work</li>
<li>Prior experience working with refugee or minority families with demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity</li>
<li>Eligible to obtain professional licensure or registration</li>
<li>Knowledge of state, community, and agency resources</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
