<div>Clients served in this role are based in Coles, Douglas, Moultri, Edgar, Clark, and surrounding counties. The Family Strengthening Case Manager should expect regular travel to these counties, typically 3&ndash;5 days per week.

As a Family Strengthening Case Manager you will give unsupported and isolated families more stability to get through hard times. As part of our Bethany team, you&rsquo;ll help parents connect with community resources and build support networks to keep their families together and their children out of foster care. By strengthening families before crisis hits, you&rsquo;ll help them stay where they belong&mdash; together.

How Your Role Makes a Difference
<ul>
<li>Conduct house visits to meet with families at various hours of the day as scheduled in some neighborhoods categorized as potentially high-risk;</li>
<li>Serve as a resource of information between all parties involved in the case and identified stakeholders regarding medical, educational and mental health providers;</li>
<li>Conduct visits with children, parents and/or caregivers that include the on-going assessment of child safety, permanency and well-being;</li>
<li>Conduct case management with Child Welfare Services (CWS) cases, as needed;</li>
<li>Develop and implement a plan that meets the needs of the children and the family;</li>
<li>Perform case management responsibilities in accordance with state and federal laws, Department of Children and Families Administrative Codes and Operating Procedures, funding source policies and internal policies on child abuse, abandonment, and neglect within required timeframes;</li>
<li>Attend court hearings, prepare and file all court documents within required timeframes;</li>
<li>Travel on a regular basis to external parties;</li>
<li>Demonstrate flexibility with working hours outside of the normal business hours to meet the needs of the role to include some evenings and weekends, as needed;</li>
<li>May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored event;</li>
<li>Complete other duties as assigned.</li>

What Will Make You Successful
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Services or equivalent field of study from an accredited college with at least three (3) years of subsequent experience in a child and family welfare agency or a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Social Work from an accredited college with at least two (2) years of subsequent experience in a child and family welfare agency;</li>
<li>Must be willing and able to obtain a CWEL and CERAP certification upon hire;</li>
<li>Must possess the ability to engage, develop, and maintain positive community relationships with a diverse group of individuals;</li>
<li>Demonstrates excellent assessment, therapeutic and crisis intervention skills;</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills;</li>
<li>Work well under pressure and adaptable to change;</li>
<li>Must have an ability to work flexible work hours to include some evenings and weekends;</li>
<li>Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;</li>
<li>Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;</li>

Family Strengthening Case Manager

As a Family Outpatient Therapist, you&rsquo;ll be part of a foster parent&rsquo;s Bethany team, supporting them and the child in their care. You&rsquo;ll train, equip, and help connect foster parents to community resources to meet the child&rsquo;s needs.

How Your Role Makes a Difference
<ul>
<li>Meet pre-defined and stipulated billable hours of minimum hour requirements per week in the office as defined by supervisor and program expectations;</li>
<li>Complete and report on client intakes, closing summaries, and psychosocial documentations in a timely manner and in accordance with agency standards;</li>
<li>Provide reports and testimony in court, as requested;</li>
<li>Present cases to the peer supervision group and receive feedback and suggested treatment modifications;</li>
<li>Provide clinical supervision and instruction to student interns, as requested;</li>
<li>Develop groups that provide innovative services to the agency and community;</li>
<li>Participate in professional networking and public relations to further promote the Counseling Department;</li>
<li>Attend weekly meetings with supervisor to consult on cases, to review case plan and direction, and to evaluate client participation and progress;</li>
<li>Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts;</li>
<li>Effectively utilize appropriate systems for data gathering, submission, and tracking client services rendered in accordance with time-bound expectations based on contract requirements, agency expectations, and program policy;</li>
<li>Conduct weekly sessions with clients and/or families or as outlined in the therapeutic treatment plan;</li>
<li>Establish and maintain referral and community resources;</li>
<li>Participate in on-call system as dictated by program needs, if required;</li>
<li>Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services;</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date on treatment modalities and complete trainings as required by funding sources, by attending conferences, seminars and journal reading;</li>

What Will Make You Successful
<ul>
<li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field of study from an accredited college;</li>
<li>At least two (2) years of post-master&rsquo;s program experience in child and family services or counseling;</li>
<li>Prior work experience with co-occurring disorder treatment, preferred;</li>
<li>Must have a broad knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and methodology of Counseling/Therapy as acquired through a master&rsquo;s level degree;</li>
<li>Active professional licensure in the state of the work location;</li>

Family Outpatient Therapist

As a Case Manager - Home Study and Post Release Services, you&rsquo;ll walk alongside unaccompanied children as they seek family reunification, older youth preparing for adulthood in a new country, and foster families who give these children a home away from home.

How Your Role Makes a Difference
<ul>
<li>Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate Post Release Services (PRS) and comprehensive case management services;</li>
<li>Maintain a caseload in compliance with contract terms and agency expectations as defined by program supervisor;</li>
<li>Effectively maintain case capacity and trending of all caseloads;</li>
<li>Conduct home visits in accordance with contract requirements, when needed;</li>
<li>Conduct the reunification process by performing home study assessments as needed;</li>
<li>Perform resource referrals, community connections, and case management services while utilizing trauma informed care throughout service provision;</li>
<li>Conduct assessments tailored to the clients needs, while working collaboratively with the program supervisor;</li>
<li>Assess potential placements for unaccompanied children (UC), to include but not limited to interviews, outreach to family in home-country, and home study investigations;</li>
<li>Complete and document all required reports, case notes, and case contacts in the appropriate database in accordance with the expected timeframes and requirements;</li>
<li>Provide psycho-educational information, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to children and families;</li>
<li>Provide family stabilization counseling and assist qualified unaccompanied children in accessing services provided through TVAP services;</li>
<li>Develop and maintain positive networking relationships with community partners and resources for families;</li>
<li>Refer and connect families to available resources on an on-going basis;</li>
<li>Assess the safety and appropriateness of the placement on an ongoing basis using child welfare principles and social work best practices;</li>
<li>Serve clients within the entire state of the respective location, as assigned;</li>
<li>Participate in mandatory training requirements and ongoing trainings monthly and annually to meet all federal, state, and agency expectations;</li>
<li>Attend weekly meetings with supervisor to consult on cases, and to review case plan and direction;</li>
<li>Participate in peer to peer support opportunities within the branches for growth and sharing of innovation and case consultation within the sites;</li>
<li>Keep abreast of community resources and refer families for support, as needed;</li>
<li>Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services;</li>
<li>Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department;</li>

What Will Make You Successful
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field of study from an accredited college with at least two (2) years of case management experience in child and family services or at least three (3) years of case management experience in child and family services, family preservation, kinship care, or refugee and immigration fields in lieu of education;</li>

As a Therapist, you&rsquo;ll walk alongside unaccompanied children and unaccompanied refugee minors who have fled for their lives and need you to use your unique gifts and talents to protect children, empower youth, and strengthen families in your community.

How Your Role Makes a Difference

<li>Conduct weekly group therapy sessions;
</li><li>Conduct weekly individual sessions with clients or as outlined in the therapeutic treatment plan;</li>

<li>Administer the intake psychosocial assessment within 24-48 hours of client's arrival to the program;</li>
<li>Administer the trafficking assessments within the defined number of days of the client's arrival to the program;</li>

<li>Attend meetings with the treatment team and actively participate in meetings;</li>

<li>Attend training provided internally and in the community and apply newly gained knowledge in providing services;</li>
<li>Attend weekly meetings with supervisor to consult on cases, to review case plan and direction, and to evaluate client participation and progress;</li>

<li>Must have a broad knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and methodology of social work as acquired through a master's level degree;</li>
