<div>Position Summary:
Ensure the building(s), equipment and utilities are maintained in good working order and facility grounds are properly maintained in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations 
Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li> Supervise maintenance staff in the day-to-day facility operations of assigned areas
</li><li> Create job assignments and set priorities</li><li> Orient new staff and participate in recruitment and selection</li><li> Communicate policies to staff, assist and coach as needed</li><li> Monitor work assignments, provide feedback, evaluate performance and discipline as needed</li><li> Maintain appropriate supplies and equipment</li><li> Ensure equipment and work areas are safe</li><li> Mix in, and appropriately label all chemicals</li><li> Keep and maintain SDS log.</li><li> Strict adherence to procedures regarding cleaners or hazardous materials or objects</li><li> Maintain and upload to TELS all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual audits and inspections</li><li> Prioritize and address staff concerns in TELS</li><li> Track and maintain all facility assets (including but not limited to Beds, W/c, Scales, Patient lifts) via TELS</li><li> Ensure universal precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures are followed</li><li> Promptly report any hazardous conditions and equipment</li><li> Assist others as requested and function as a working supervisor in all areas of responsibilities as the departments' budgeted hours and workload require .</li><li> Oversee security department, including scheduling, to ensure the compliance with facility&rsquo;s standards
</li><li> Maintain facility equipment in proper working order</li><li> Repair or replace any equipment that is not functioning properly</li><li> Contact outside contractors to get quotes to complete work as required</li><li> Conduct facility rounds and repair any areas that need attention</li><li> Conduct and document monthly room audits to identify and repair any minor repairs including areas with missing or chipped paint</li><li> Conduct and document monthly audits of all egress areas and ensure proper door and alarm function</li><li> Conduct and document monthly audits in all resident care areas to ensure proper water temperatures.</li><li> Maintain the facility grounds to assure safe ambulation of all pedestrians, snow removal, grass cutting and overall appearance of the outside of the facility.</li><li> All other duties as assigned by administration</li></ul></div>
