Job Title: AccountantJob Type : Full Time &ndash; (Onsite)Location: Adalaj, Nr. Ahmedabad, Gujarat Reports To: Operation Head / Founder Department: Finance &amp; AccountingPosition Overview:We are looking for a skilled and motivated Accountant with at least 3 years of experience to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, including the preparation of financial statements (P&amp;L, Balance Sheet), trial balance, and other financial reports. Additionally, a solid understanding of Management Information Systems (MIS) and business finance is required to support key financial decision-making.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Preparation of Financial Statements:</li><li>Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&amp;L) Account, Balance Sheet (B/S), and Cash Flow Statements.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the financial accounts in compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of trial balances, including reconciling general ledger entries and resolving discrepancies.</li><li>Business Finance &amp; Reporting:</li><li>Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.</li><li>Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement, supporting senior management in decision-making.</li><li>Provide insights into financial performance, cost control, and profitability improvement for various business units.</li><li>Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment with the company&rsquo;s financial goals.</li><li>Management Information Systems (MIS):</li><li>Manage and produce regular MIS reports that summarize business performance, highlighting key financial and operational metrics.</li><li>Utilize financial software and MIS tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, Power BI) to generate detailed reports for stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with the IT department to optimize reporting systems and ensure that financial data is accurately captured and reflected in MIS reports.</li><li>Month-End and Year-End Closing:</li><li>Ensure the timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of financial records.</li><li>Reconcile all accounts (AP, AR, bank, etc.) and prepare for audits.</li><li>Ensure that all journal entries are recorded and that all financial statements are complete and accurate.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Internal Controls:</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and relevant tax laws.</li><li>Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard the company&rsquo;s financial data and assets.</li><li>Assist in preparing documentation for both internal and external audits.</li><li>Taxation &amp; Regulatory Compliance:</li><li>Assist in tax preparation, including VAT/GST, income tax returns, and other relevant filings.</li><li>Ensure the company is compliant with tax regulations and deadlines.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Education:</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.</li><li>Experience:</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with specific experience in financial reporting and analysis.</li><li>Hands-on experience with the preparation of financial accounts, including Trial Balance, P&amp;L Statement, and Balance Sheet.</li><li>Strong understanding of Business Finance and ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.</li><li>Proven experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), ERP software, and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.</li><li>Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.</li><li>Ability to generate and interpret financial reports (P&amp;L, B/S, trial balance, etc.).</li><li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and variances in financial data.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.</li><li>Preferred Skills:</li><li>Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/MIS reporting tools.</li><li>Experience in the industry of [insert specific industry if applicable, e.g., manufacturing, retail, etc.].</li></ul>Key Attributes:<ul><li>Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.</li><li>High level of integrity and professionalism.</li></ul>Interested candidates can apply with updated CV on +91 98751 57259Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;55,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
