Senior CAD Designer - Autodesk Civil 3D in San Antonio, TX office (San Pedro Ave)

Job Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Use Autodesk Civil 3D to perform accurate drafting and annotation for plan, profile and detail sheets for public works, water resources, wastewater, stormwater, piping, pump stations, elevator pump stations, sewage lift stations, utilities, water, sewer, paving and drainage design and drafting plans.</li>
<li>Complete redlines for modification of existing plans and notes or preparation of new details or design elements.</li>
<li>Complete construction plan sets by compiling all plan, profile, note and detail sheets to present a comprehensive design.</li>
<li>Coordinating and reviewing design drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper standards are followed.</li>
<li>Investigating and documenting field conditions for proper design background by using simple surveying equipment.</li>
<li>Understanding of surveying principles and ability to analyze survey data, site drawings, topographic maps, improvement plans, utility drawings, as-built drawings, and system maps.</li>
<li>Daily onsite role.</li>
</ul>
Job Requirements
<ul>
<li>5+ or more years of experience in civil engineering drafting ideally in Public Works/Water Resources domain.</li>
<li>Technical degree or certification in Autodesk Civil 3D</li>
<li>Experience working with engineers and senior designers.</li>
<li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work in a fast&ndash;paced environment dedicated to meeting deadlines.</li>
<li>Have a working knowledge of CAD standards, features and annotation styles, line styles, sheet set manager and drawing setup.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing multi-step tasks.</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and expand capabilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team and work well with others.</li>
<li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul><div>
