 Job Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide front desk administrative support to multiple departments within a Civil Engineering and Design firm.
 </li>
 <li>
 Greet clients, answer and appropriately direct a moderate amount incoming calls, and manage daily office operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate new hires regarding office space, computer/phone equipment, and supplies
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversees purchase of office supplies and overall front office activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate food ordering, catering, and room settings (20-25 monthly). Set up and clean-ups for breakfast, lunch, and office events.
 </li>
 <li>
 Make travel arrangements and conference reservations as needed (5-6 monthly)
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to inquiries and informational requests
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with composing, compiling, and binding marketing materials for project pursuits
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares FedEx, UPS, and other express carrier packages for shipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Other duties as assigned and uses greater judgement and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.

 Job Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 2 years administrative experience, and proven ability to work with limited supervision
 </li>
 <li>
 Exhibits a professional and welcoming front office presence
 </li>
 <li>
 Civil engineering office support experience - Preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have excellent time management skills, and ability to coordinate with all levels of staff and handle multiple tasks
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong proof reading and editing skills and grammar
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Experience working in the professional services industry is a plus. Dependability/Reliability is a must.
