Job description:We are seeking a skilled and licensed Registered Dental Assistant with a DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring a positive patient experience.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Clinical Support:</li><li>Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth chairside support.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials.</li><li>Patient Care:</li><li>Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, making them comfortable and addressing any concerns.</li><li>Provide clear instructions to patients regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care.</li><li>Instrument Sterilization:</li><li>Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.</li><li>Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the treatment area.</li><li>Record Keeping:</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.</li><li>Document treatment information in electronic health records (EHR) systems.</li><li>Radiography:</li><li>Take and process dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.</li><li>Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.</li><li>Educational Support:</li><li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.</li><li>Provide information on post-operative care instructions.</li><li>Assist with Administrative Tasks:</li><li>Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar.</li><li>Handle patient inquiries and coordinate with front desk staff as needed.</li><li>Infection Control:</li><li>Adhere to strict infection control measures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>Follow established protocols for infection prevention and control.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>DHA License:</li><li>Possession of a valid DHA license as a Dental Assistant.</li><li>Education:</li><li>Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.</li><li>Technical Skills:</li><li>Proficiency in dental software, X-ray equipment, and other dental tools.</li><li>Communication Skills:</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-timeExperience:<ul><li>Dental Nurse: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>
