Job Tittle: Medical Officer Responsibility:&middot; Provision of clinical and medical services under supervision.&middot; Formulation and implementation of patient management plans in line with evidence-based and cost effective principles.&middot; Coordination on in-patient management in conjunction with other health professionals.&middot; Communication with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.&middot; Extensive communication with patients and their relatives.&middot; Adherence to legal and ethical requirements, pertinent to health care delivery.&middot; Ensure that patients receive adequate and appropriate assessment and emergency medical care, either directly or through supervision of junior medical staff.&middot; Initiation of management plan and organization of appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, in consultation with Senior Medical Officer as appropriate.&middot; Ensure that there is adequate consultation and communication of such assessment and management decisions to the appropriate and primary consultants.&middot; Ensure effective referral and disposition of the patient after they leave the Emergency Department.
