An immigration law office in Central Fremont area is seeking a legal assistant to work on site.Compensation is based upon experience. In the application, please state 1] why you are interested, 2] City you live in, 3] Salary expectation.Responsibilities include:&middot; Be the liaison between attorney and clients, communicate with clients, and collect required documents from clients, and help keep track of cases&rsquo; progress;&middot; Communicate with clients via email and phone, schedule meetings for attorney;&middot; Assist attorney in preparing immigration forms, and support letters;&middot; Organize and compile case files for Attorney to review;&middot; Proofread the case files before submission;&middot; Copy and scan documents for filing;&middot; Mail out the case files;&middot; Perform some administrative duties, such as ordering office supplies, etc.Required Qualifications:&middot; Associate degree or equivalent;&middot; Previous immigration experience is preferred;&middot; Strong writing and proofreading skills;&middot; Detail oriented, well organized and able to simultaneously manage multiple cases;&middot; Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;&middot; Great time management skills and strong desire to learn.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $43,680.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
