Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll and Human Resource Administrator to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee payroll processing, ensure accurate employee data management, and support HR functions that foster a positive and compliant workplace environment. Your expertise will help streamline payroll operations, maintain precise records, and support human resources initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Human Resources<ul><li>Maintain and update all required employer documents and personnel files for current and past employees.</li><li>Act as company liaison for unemployment, disability, and family leave claims.</li><li>Track and document FMLA and other leaves to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.</li><li>Administer and reconcile claims and billings for medical, dental, life, and LTD insurance plans.</li><li>Coordinate employee eligibility and enrollment in company benefits.</li><li>Maintain documentation and communication for workers&rsquo; compensation claims.</li><li>Support government audits and reporting related to labor and personnel.</li><li>Oversee employee garnishments and act as Plan Administrator/Privacy Officer for HIPAA compliance.</li><li>Monitor employee corrective actions, terminations, and conduct sexual harassment investigations as needed.</li></ul>Payroll<ul><li>Prepare weekly payroll using electronic time clock systems and coordinate with outside payroll service provider.</li><li>Maintain accuracy of employee master files and payroll data.</li><li>Administer payroll deductions, garnishments, and expense reimbursements.</li><li>Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.</li><li>Audit payroll systems periodically to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Maintain and destroy payroll files as required by policy.</li><li>Track hours for ACA eligibility and file annual reports.</li><li>Post payroll journal entries and prepare workers comp summaries.</li><li>Respond to payroll information requests from authorized agencies.</li><li>Provide backup for accounts payable and assist with special assignments.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>10+ years of experience in HR and payroll administration.</li><li>Proficient with MS Office; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HR, labor law, benefits, and payroll practices.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $73,000.00 - $77,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
