Bierman Autism Centers is looking for a full-time and center-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a motivated and energetic team focused on transforming the lives of children diagnosed with autism while building a fun and creative culture at work. Our one-on-one approach is focused on natural play to teach foundational skills our kids can build on, such as self-advocacy and communication. Every child&rsquo;s success is unique! Fun and Challenging Responsibilities for our SLPs:<ul><li>
Providing center-based occupational therapy for children with autism.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of other experienced individuals, including OTs, BCBAs, and RBTs.</li><li>

Requirements:

Basic &amp; Essential Functions:<ul><li>
Must be able to lift and carry clients who are least 30 pounds</li><li>
Must have hearing ability sufficient to evaluate client&rsquo;s speech</li><li>
Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Support Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior</li><li>
Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures including kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing, bending, for extended periods of time.</li><li>
Must be able to walk and run to chase clients and maintain a three-foot distance at all times</li><li>

Must be able to attend to basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing</li><li>
Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection</li><li>

Master&rsquo;s Degree in Speech Pathology</li><li>

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Summary
As the Director of Client Safety, you'll own Bierman's enterprise client safety operating system. This role will report to the VP of Clinical Excellence.
You'll establish the policies, standards, escalation frameworks, training programs, audit processes, and measurement systems that define how safety is delivered consistently across every Bierman center.
You'll partner across Clinical, Operations, Human Resources, Facilities, Compliance, and Executive Leadership to ensure safety isn't simply documented&mdash;it is consistently implemented, measured, improved, and embedded into our culture.
From developing enterprise standards to coordinating investigations, identifying trends, training leaders, and continuously strengthening our systems, you'll play a critical role in protecting children while helping Bierman become the industry's gold standard for pediatric therapy safety.
What You'll Own
Enterprise Client Safety System
You'll design, implement, and continuously improve Bierman's comprehensive client safety operating system. This includes ownership of enterprise-wide policies, standards, documentation requirements, and operational expectations surrounding:<ul><li>

Safety policies and operating procedures</li><li>

Creating policies is only the beginning. You'll ensure our standards are consistently executed across the organization by developing systems that verify implementation and identify opportunities for improvement.

Leading enterprise-wide safety audits</li><li>

You'll build the tools that allow Bierman to proactively monitor safety performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Meet prescription fulfillment goals as assigned by Clinical Director</li><li>
Required to meet both hourly and monthly authorization fulfillment equaling an average of 25 billable hours per week</li><li>

Oversee/monitor ABA programs including conducting initial and ongoing assessments</li><li>
Direct, lead &amp; supervise behavior technicians as part of managing programs, including oversight of assigned RBT supervision hours</li><li>
Keep up to date on current research and best practices</li><li>
Model and fill in for therapy as needed</li><li>
Promote Bierman Autism Centers within the community</li><li>
Assist Clinical Directors with conducting Initial Assessments as needed</li><li>
Take on assigned supervisees for BACB student supervision as needed</li><li>
Assist with Interim Care as needed for potential clients as needed</li><li>
Properly document all activities according to both the BACB guidelines and funder guidelines</li></ul>

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

We&rsquo;re building &lsquo;the&rsquo; Teaching Hospital for pediatric therapy &mdash; a category of one by driving excellence in outcomes, developing clinicians, building payer trust, and embedding systems across what we do.
Bierman Autism Centers is looking for a full-time &amp; center-based Clinician in Training to join a motivated and energetic team focused on transforming the lives of children diagnosed with autism while building a fun and creative culture at work. You will constantly challenge yourself to gain new skills, try new methods and adapt to be better to help each child. Our one-on-one approach is focused on natural play to teach foundational skills our kids can build on, such as self-advocacy and communication. Every child&rsquo;s success is unique! We continually challenge ourselves to do anything it takes to enable our kids to reach their potential on their terms.
The Details:
Our centers are open Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am &ndash; 5pm. We primarily work with children between the ages of 2-9 in a center-based environment.
The Clinician in Training is an entry level Behavior Analyst role that is designed to give the candidate a hands-on training experience by pairing them with an experienced BCBA who will serve as their mentor as they go through the CiT Training sequence. The CiT has a primary responsibility to accelerate client success through responsibilities delegated by their assigned BCBA mentor. By sharing a caseload and pod, the mentor BCBA will serve as a model as the CiT learns all of the responsibilities and tasks that they would need to complete as a Behavior Analyst.
Training Timeline<ul><li>
Phase 1: shadowing and completing assigned non-billable tasks. Mentor BA models team training and once CiT tests with appropriate fidelity they can also take over team training outside of consult overlap time.</li><li>
Phase 2: Mentor BA models and tests probing programming targets, conducting assessments, and making programming changes. Mentor BA starts to delegate non-billable consult time dedicated to both team training and programming updates.</li><li>
Phase 3: Mentor BA overlaps as CiT starts to run the consults independently.</li></ul>
Fun and Challenging Responsibilities for our Clinicians in Training:<ul><li>
Share a caseload with an experienced BA in the center who serves as a mentor and coach</li><li>
Assist with the PS tasks related to shared clients
<ul><li>Create materials for learners on caseload (after completion of MRS training)</li>
<li>Assist in the maintenance and organization of the therapy materials for learners on caseload</li>
</ul></li><li>Assist with CST for new hires who will be entering pod as assigned by BCBA</li><li>
Assist with BIC&rsquo;s as assigned by BCBA</li><li>
Assist with ongoing integrity checks and training BTs on new programming implemented by BCBA</li><li>
Assists with the completion of monthly progress reports</li><li>
Sits in on parent meetings, assists with material preparation for parent meetings and trainings</li><li>
Assists with creating and changing charts and updating data sheets following a shared consult</li></ul>
