Overview Youngquist Brothers LLC is seeking a sharp individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive to be a Purchaser/Buyer on our team.In this role, you will play a crucial part in the procurement process, ensuring that we acquire high-quality products at competitive prices along with on-time deliveries.The ideal candidate will have some mechanical knowledge of auto, truck and heavy equipment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment daily.</li><li>Monday-Friday 7am-5pm</li><li>Assist in the procurement of parts and supplies as needed in our shop.</li><li>Communicate with the mechanics, welders, electricians, etc. in our shop to understand their needs.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.</li><li>Work closely with the Service Manager and Shop Manager to develop sourcing strategies that optimize costs while maintaining quality.</li><li>Actively keep track of purchases and deliveries, and communicate findings to the Service Manager.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in a mechanical shop or parts store is preferred.</li><li>Strong Google search skills with the ability to evaluate pricing and supplier deliveries.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.</li><li>A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Join us as a Parts Buyer and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional products while enhancing your career in procurement.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>DO YOU HAVE A CLEAN BACKGROUND?
