This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in childcare while contributing to a supportive community dedicated to children's well-being.Duties<ul><li>Assist in supervising children during daily activities, including playtime, meals, naps, and educational sessions</li><li>Support classroom teachers and caregivers in implementing age-appropriate curricula and activities that promote childhood development</li><li>Ensure the safety of all children by monitoring their interactions and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment</li><li>Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed</li><li>Engage children in educational games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor activities to stimulate learning and social skills</li><li>Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation among children</li><li>Collaborate with team members to communicate children's progress and share observations on developmental milestones</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings</li><li>Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages</li><li>Ability to provide first aid and handle emergency situations confidently</li><li>Skilled in working with individuals with disabilities or special needs with patience and understanding</li><li>Expertise in toddler care and infant care routines</li><li>Strong classroom experience with behavior management techniques</li><li>Compassionate caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities</li><li>Familiarity with childhood safety protocols and caregiving best practices</li></ul>Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for nurturing young minds can flourish!
