<div>Barista Responsibilities:
<ul><li>The barista?s responsibilities include educating customers on BigFoot Java?s beverage menus and taking orders.</li>
<li>Greeting all customers as they pull up.</li>
<li>Perform the day-to-day operations of the coffee stand; inclusive of employee duties posted within stand for shift/role.</li>
<li>Keep the bar area and stand clean.</li>
<li>Report any maintenance needs.</li>
<li>Maintain quality control of products while on shift and in exchange with customers.</li>
<li>Cash handling and operation of a POS system</li>
<li>Comply with health and safety regulations.</li>
<li>Complete financial reporting per shift in adherence to stand/company protocol.</li>
<li>Work alone or with others while delivering quality, consistency to customers.</li>
<li>Solving challenges faced by customers via excellent customer service.</li>
<li>Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.</li>
<li>Participate with respect to co-workers and management across company platforms.</li>
<li>Having coffee experience is not required but is preferred.</li>
<li>Must be 18 years or older.</li>
<li>Passionate about coffee, have a great work ethic, and a desire to become more involved with BigFoot Java.</li>
<li>Helps to maintain positive staff morale.</li>
<li>Ensures excellence in coffee preparation and customer experience.</li>
<li>Stay knowledgeable about products.</li>
<li>Consistently and efficiently prepare excellent quality beverages.</li></ul> 

Barista Qualifications
<ul><li>Must be able to work on your feet and stand for long periods of time.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate with confidence, transparency, and integrity.</li>
<li>A positive and pleasant attitude may help general managers earn respect and cooperation from their employees and clients.</li>
<li>A good attitude can also boost workplace morale and satisfaction.</li>
<li>Listening: ability to listen and follow instructions, take critical feedback as necessary</li>
<li>Technical: must possess basic computer skills to perform their job and have aptitude for leveraging technology in the workplace.</li>
<li>Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.</li>
<li>Food Handlers Card.</li></ul> 

Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Ability to stand for 6 hours or more per shift.</li>
<li>Repetitive motions.</li>
<li>Ability to bend, stoop or kneel as needed.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.</li>
<li>Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.</li>
<li>Use of hand dexterity for writing, grabbing, pulling, twisting, shaking</li>
<li>Cleaning and restocking work areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.</li></ul> 

Job and Benefit Information:
<ul><li>90-day probationary period.</li>
<li>You will be required to attend occasional meetings at the corporate office. Pacific WA 98047</li>
<li>Hourly wage of $16.90 plus tips. (Averaging $16.90-$30.00 an hour)</li>
<li>Overtime (time-and-a-half) for all hours worked over 40 in any work week.</li>
<li>PTO/SICK</li>
