Thriving Law Firm is seeking an experienced Title Paralegal/ Title Processor to assist at a growing Title Insurance company (Real Estate Law Firm) located in Pompano Beach, FL which has been in business for the last 20 years under the same owner.Job Description<ul><li>The primary duties of this position include communicating with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, paralegals, vendors and service companies to obtain the information needed to clear title and proceed to the settlement table. Clearing title and balancing settlement statements, along with communication with underwriter. Scheduling closings and assisting realtors with possible changes and continuations at closing, order continuations &amp; updated municipals searches on scheduled closings, post-closing breakdown on files, prepare closing packages to include policies, invoice, title report, affidavits &amp; survey and assist in other areas of operation, as needed. Phone communication and email communication is paramount.</li></ul>Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>Must have high school diploma or equivalent experience</li><li>FL Notary License</li><li>Title Agent License A PLUS but not required</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of title processing/ closing experience</li><li>Knowledge with FL transactions</li><li>Good working knowledge of Title software applications</li><li>Organization, responsibility, balance and professionalism a must.</li><li>Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple actions at once</li><li>Flexibility to re-prioritize based on direction of management</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as escrow, closing, title, operating and procedure manuals</li><li>Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and our team of sales, escrow, and title employees</li><li>Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills required</li><li>Self-motivated to work in a fast-paced</li><li>Be a team player and be flexible enough to be able to address situations &amp; 'put out fires' when it is required</li><li>Intermediate to advanced-level title software and general office skills</li><li>Strong, professional interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence</li><li>Meticulous analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently</li></ul>Compensation and BenefitsCompensation will be commensurate with experience, and includes our benefits package. Additional consideration will be given to candidates who are bilengual.
