Job SummaryThe BIM Modeller &ndash; HVAC is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining high-quality 3D BIM models for HVAC systems using industry-standard software. The role involves producing coordinated construction documentation, participating in clash detection, and ensuring compliance with project requirements, BIM standards, and company procedures.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and accessories.</li><li>Prepare coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings, and fabrication drawings.</li><li>Produce HVAC layouts, sections, details, and schedules from BIM models.</li><li>Coordinate HVAC models with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.</li><li>Participate in clash detection and model coordination meetings.</li><li>Resolve clashes and model conflicts under the guidance of the BIM Coordinator.</li><li>Maintain model accuracy throughout all project stages.</li><li>Ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), client requirements, and company standards.</li><li>Generate quantity take-offs and material schedules from BIM models when required.</li><li>Update models based on design revisions, RFIs, and site comments.</li><li>Maintain proper file management, model organization, and version control.</li><li>Support project teams by providing technical BIM assistance.</li><li>Assist in preparing as-built models and project handover documentation.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.</li><li>2&ndash;5 years of experience as an HVAC BIM Modeller (or as required by the company).</li><li>Experience working on commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, or infrastructure projects.</li><li>Strong understanding of HVAC systems and construction practices.</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Autodesk Revit (Mechanical)</li><li>Autodesk Navisworks</li><li>AutoCAD</li><li>BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred)</li><li>Microsoft Office</li><li>Basic understanding of Dynamo (preferred)</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM workflows is an advantage.</li></ul>Required Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and MEP coordination.</li><li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.</li><li>Experience with clash detection and model coordination.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.</li></ul>Preferred Certifications<ul><li>Autodesk Certified Professional &ndash; Revit for Mechanical</li><li>BIM-related certifications are an advantage.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Accuracy and quality of BIM models.</li><li>Timely delivery of project milestones.</li><li>Reduction of coordination clashes.</li><li>Compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.</li><li>Client and project team satisfaction.</li><li>Quality of shop drawings and documentation.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Office-based with occasional site visits as required.</li><li>May be required to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.</li></ul>Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
