</div><div><b>RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div><ul><li>
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences</li><li>
Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that adhere to system curriculum maps</li><li>
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities</li><li>
Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities</li><li>
Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students&rsquo; varying needs</li><li>
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment</li><li>
Use relevant technology to support instruction</li><li>
Keep updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities</li><li>
Observe, monitor and evaluate student&rsquo;s progress and performance</li><li>
Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, assignments and enter grades online</li><li>
Provide appropriate and timely feedback on work</li><li>
Promote the mission of Bishop O&rsquo;Gorman Catholic Schools</li><li>
Provide student supervision and discipline</li><li>
Perform certain pastoral duties including student support, counseling students with academic problems and providing student encouragement</li><li>
Uphold professionalism and confidentiality</li><li>
Participate in school events and fundraisers</li><li>
Participate in department, school meetings and parent meetings</li><li>
Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs</li><li>
Attend parent-teacher conferences to meet with parents</li><li>
Assume responsibility and care of classrooms and school property
</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory of classroom materials and supplies</li><li>
Teach, team-teach or assist classroom teacher in planning and teaching of the computer curriculum which includes: keyboarding, paint/draw/graphics, word processing, information systems, Internet, electronic presentations, desktop publishing, database, spreadsheets, programming, a variety of skill-and-drill software, and coding.</li><li>
Collaborate with and assist classroom teachers in planning and implementing SD technology standards and innovative uses of technology to enhance the curriculum</li><li>
Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of tech equipment in the building</li><li>
Update and maintain inventory of computers in the building</li><li>
Recommend software and hardware purchases with the Director of Information Technology&rsquo;s approval, to administration</li><li>
Serve on the Technology Committee</li><li>
Train building staff on new and existing hardware, software, and innovative tools</li><li>
Assist with system projects as needed</li><li>
Train new staff and refresh existing staff in various online platforms (i.e. Infinite Campus, Impero and G Suite, etc.)</li><li>
Perform various duties as assigned</li></ul><div><b><br>
QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher from an accredited Institution</li><li>
State certification with K-12 technology authorization</li><li>
Exhibit the core values of Bishop O&rsquo;Gorman Catholic Schools: Faith, Unity, Excellence, and Integrity</li><li>
Experience in technology and education preferred</li><li>
Working knowledge of software (application and operating systems)</li><li>
Working knowledge of technologies such as Smartboards, Promethean boards, Chromebooks and iPads</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication</li><li>
Good problem solving and decision making skills</li><li>
Self-motivated with high energy</li></ul><div><b>
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</b></div><ul><li>
Ability to work daytime hours, primarily Monday-Friday</li><li>
Clarity of vision</li><li>
Ability to speak English clearly</li><li>
Ability to hear and distinguish sounds, including speech, alarms and other work environment sounds</li><li>
Fine hand motor skills to include and not limited to keyboarding, writing, grasping, holding, and repetitive motion</li><li>
Ability to frequently sit, stand, and walk through work day</li><li>
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally</li><li>
Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds</li><li>
Ability to intermittently bend, squat, and reach overhead</li></ul><div>
