Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, developing engaging curriculum, and supporting the academic and social development of children across various age groups. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and effective teaching strategies to inspire and educate students in both classroom and extracurricular settings.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and specialized subjects like Montessori or special education.</li><li>Teach Students how to Drive Safely.</li><li>Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes student engagement, curiosity, and a love for learning.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.</li><li>Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing when applicable.</li><li>Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs, including children requiring early intervention or special education support.</li><li>Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support student welfare and educational goals.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and other required documentation.</li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education, literacy education, childcare, and other relevant areas.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.</li><li>Experience with curriculum development across various subjects such as math, literacy, physical education, and special education.</li><li>Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods to support student achievement.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners including toddlers, preschoolers, children with special needs, or those requiring early intervention services.</li><li>Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field is highly desirable; Montessori training or experience is a plus.</li><li>Passion for fostering a positive learning environment that promotes child welfare and holistic development.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourWork Location: In person
