(Summer schedules vary)</li><li>Hands-On Impact: Be part of projects that turn blueprints into reality &mdash; right here in our Phoenix fabrication shop.</li><li>Supportive Culture: Work alongside skilled tradespeople in a safe, organized, and team-focused environment.</li><li>Room to Grow: Expand your skills and cross-train across welding, fitting, and plasma table operations.</li></ul>Your MissionAs part of our Shop Fabrication Team, you&rsquo;ll play a vital role in fabricating and assembling structural steel components according to detailed drawings and tight tolerances &mdash; all while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.What You&rsquo;ll DoFabrication &amp; Welding<ul><li>Weld and fit structural components according to shop drawings (FCAW, MIG, and Dual Shield at 2F position).</li><li>Perform layout, fitting, and assembly of beams, columns, embeds, and stair pans.</li><li>Maintain dimensional accuracy using squares, levels, and measuring tools.</li></ul>Plasma Table Operation (for applicable positions)<ul><li>Operate CNC plasma table and perform minor programming or nesting edits.</li><li>Inspect cut parts for accuracy, labeling, and quality.</li><li>Maintain and clean table and consumables to ensure consistent performance.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Quality<ul><li>Follow all shop safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout practices.</li><li>Inspect welds and finished parts to ensure compliance with AWS D1.1 and company standards.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li></ul>Teamwork &amp; Accountability<ul><li>Communicate with foreman, fitters, and QC throughout fabrication process.</li><li>Support teammates with setup, lifts, and safe handling of materials.</li><li>Take ownership of your work &mdash; from start to finish.</li></ul>RequirementsMandatory<ul><li>3+ years of experience in steel fabrication, welding, or fitting</li><li>Ability to read and interpret structural and shop drawings</li><li>Proficiency in Dual Shield, FCAW, and MIG welding</li><li>Strong work ethic and consistent attendance</li><li>Ability to lift and move steel safely and efficiently</li></ul>Preferred (Not Required)<ul><li>Experience operating CNC plasma table (Shop Sabre, Messer, or similar)</li><li>AWS D1.1 Certification</li><li>Forklift certification</li><li>OSHA 10 training</li></ul>Why You&rsquo;re a Perfect FitYou take pride in doing things right the first time.
