As the Store Lead, you are self-driven and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, while consistently demonstrating servant leadership toward all team members. Your primary responsibility is to cultivate a positive atmosphere that offers fast, efficient, and friendly service. You will facilitate training, customer service, product knowledge, and education, promote safe work practices, and uphold Black Rock Coffee Bar's values, policies, and procedures. Store Leads oversee daily operations and lead by example, setting the tone for the success of each team member and location.</p>

</p><p><b>Services and Duties
</b></p><p>As the Store Lead, you are responsible for ensuring day-to-day success across your location through operational execution, Team Member development, and guest experience. You embody Black Rock's standards and values while creating an environment where people can grow and thrive. Your essential duties and key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p>

<li>Oversees daily store operations to deliver results across SPOC</li>
<li>Leads, communicates, and champions Black Rock Coffee Bar values, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Establishes effective, positive communication among all Team Members through appropriate channels.</li>
<li>Plans and executes sales promotions as assigned by Marketing.</li>
<li>Promotes safe work practices, reports incidents and accidents promptly to the Multi-Store Lead and HR and follows required procedures.</li>
<li>Owns hiring, onboarding, and training processes for the store.</li>
<li>Coaches and holds Team Members accountable to service standards and performance expectations, issues corrective actions when necessary.</li>
<li>Serves as the active leader on shift, maintains adequate coverage, arranges coverage for unexpected absences, and ensures meal and rest periods are provided per state requirements.</li>
<li>Creates and publishes the store schedule on time and ensures adherence to Black Rock availability and time-off request protocols.</li>
<li>Completes daily off-bar leadership tasks, including approving timecards, managing cash, and submitting expenses.</li>
<li>Plans and facilitates quarterly store meetings and 1:1 reviews with Team Members.</li>
<li>Organizes quarterly team outings to support morale and recognition.</li>
<li>Attends leadership meetings as scheduled, including biweekly or monthly sessions based on regional requirements.</li>
<li>Proactively troubleshoots equipment issues, addresses Team Member concerns, and resolves operational problems.</li>
<li>Works a total of 40 hours per week, dedicating at least 32 hours per week to on bar duties.</li>

<div><p><b>Additional Barista Duties</b></p>

In this hourly, non-exempt role, you will also perform on-bar responsibilities. Your additional Barista duties include, but are not limited to:</p>

<li>Immediately and warmly welcomes customers and Team Members, ensuring a positive, welcoming, and engaging environment.</li>
<li>Abides by service speed requirements without compromising beverage quality or customer service, including third-party orders.</li>
<li>Prepares and serves coffee and coffee-less beverages and food items using retail equipment, such as espresso machines and convection ovens.</li>
<li>Maintains clean and organized work and customer areas, following health and safety guidelines.</li>
<li>Promotes new coffee offerings and seasonal specials to enhance brand awareness and sales.</li>
<li>Handles accurate cash and credit transactions, including daily cash deposits when required.</li>
<li>Supports training initiatives and mentors new Team Members during onboarding.</li>
<li>Holds leadership team accountable for assigned daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.</li>
<li>Handles customer complaints and resolves issues professionally and promptly.</li>
<li>Assists in inventory management and restocks supplies as needed, including product displays.</li>
<li>Provides guidance on proper line busting during peak periods to expedite customer orders, which may require exposure to various elements.</li>

<div></div><div>This hourly, non-exempt role operates primarily in retail store and field settings and occasional travel for trainings, meetings, and openings. It also requires regular administrative work on site. You must be able to work in the following conditions and perform the following tasks:</div>
<div></div><ul><li>Fast-paced, guest-facing setting with periods of high noise during peak hours</li>
<li>Exposure to heat, cold, steam, and approved cleaning agents per safety data sheets</li>
<li>Frequent on-bar work with direct customer interaction and POS use</li>
<li>Variable schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays</li>
<li>Work performed on foot for most of the shift, with rest and meal periods provided per law</li>
<li>Indoor and outdoor duties, including line busting and event support with weather exposure</li>
<li>Regular travel within the assigned market and occasional out-of-market travel</li>
<li>Use of handheld devices, computers, and store systems to complete job functions</li>
<li>Periodic desk and computer work for scheduling, payroll review, inventory, email, and reporting</li>
<li>Accurate data entry and review in Company systems including 7Shifts, Revel/POS, SPOC, HME, Nexonia, LMS, and HRIS with strict confidentiality</li>
<li>Reading, drafting, and responding to communications, SOPs, training materials, and corrective actions</li>
<li>Participation in virtual meetings and trainings using video, audio, and chat tools</li>
<li>Use of standard office equipment including computer, keyboard, mouse, printer, and scanner</li>
<li>Ability to sit for extended periods interspersed with standing and walking as duties require</li>
<li>Visual acuity for digital dashboards, spreadsheets, and reports, and auditory ability for calls and meetings</li>
