Are you passionate about Tech Education, Video Games, Coding (Python, Javascript, Lua etc.), Roblox&trade;, App Design, Digital Arts, Video Editing Robotics, Drones, Minecraft&trade; or STEM?
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our Summer programs.
<ul><li>Summer seasonal position (4-10 weeks) starting in June
</li><li>In-room with kids ages 6-11 or 8-14
</li><li>PAID training!
</li><li>No formal experience required
</li><li>Spend the summer with our AMAZING students having fun with technology!
</li></ul>General Requirements:
<ul><li>Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation
</li><li>Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
</li><li>Strong technology skills are preferred, such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, etc.
</li><li>Available to start online training in May prior to the start of summer (train at your own pace via our online portal)
</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer accommodations or work sponsorship.
</li><li>Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday
</li><li>Must love working with kids!
</li></ul>Lead Instructor Requirements:
<ul><li>21 years of age or older
</li><li>College graduates with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields and/or significant relevant work experience are ideal. Graduating college seniors with student teaching experience are also encouraged to apply.
</li><li>Experience teaching kids is not required, but the ideal candidate will have some experience with kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
</li><li>Ability to lead a class of up to 12 kids solo and 25 kids with an assistant in a classroom setting
</li><li>Ability to manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed for various classes
</li></ul>Details:
<ul><li>Rate: $20/hr - $24/hr depending on experience, location, and availability
