 What You'll Do
 
 
 
 Reporting to the Home Services Manager, you'll keep the engine running by:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinating permits and inspections (online, in person, and via paperwork)
 </li>
 <li>
 Managing materials and vendor communication (ordering, tracking, and follow-up)
 </li>
 <li>
 Preparing projects by verifying pre-production steps
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviewing and approving invoices for payment
 </li>
 <li>
 Participating in team meetings and maintaining project documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisting with additional administrative and office support tasks as needed
 
 
 </li>

 Pay: $20.00-$24.00/hour (based on experience)

 What We're Looking For

 2+ years of construction-related administrative experience
 </li>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret basic construction drawings
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills with clients, inspectors, and team members
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional organization, time management, and follow-through
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

As a Lead Construction Carpente r, you'll run day-to-day site work, deliver top-tier craftsmanship, and set the tone for safety, cleanliness, and client experience. You'll coordinate with PMs, guide helpers/subs, and keep projects moving to plan, while building spaces clients love. What You'll Build<ul><li> Kitchens & Baths: custom islands, specialty cabinetry, luxury baths </li><li> Whole-Home Remodels & Additions: offices, laundry rooms, garage conversions </li><li> Exterior Projects: sunrooms, porches, entryways </li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li> Lead site execution for residential remodeling projects from demo through finish. </li><li> Perform layout, framing, window/door installs, cabinetry, trim, and finish carpentry. </li><li> Read plans; perform material takeoffs from site conditions/blueprints. </li><li> Coordinate daily with Project Managers; sequence trades to maintain schedule and quality. </li><li> Uphold jobsite safety, protection, and cleanliness; model professional client interaction. </li><li> Complete daily documentation (photos, notes, time) using mobile tools/JobTread (we'll train). </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li> 5 or more years of residential remodeling (lead/working-lead preferred). </li><li> Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable vehicle (local travel in Southern NH/Northern MA). </li><li> Personal hand/power tools appropriate for a lead carpenter. </li><li> Precision and pride in craftsmanship; punch-list mindset. </li><li> Ability to communicate clearly with clients, PMs, and trade partners. </li><li> Comfort with basic tech (smartphone/tablet; Apple or Android). </li><li> Able to work indoors/outdoors, on ladders/roofs, and lift/carry materials safely. </li><li> Willingness to complete a background check (post-offer, consistent with law). </li><li> Culture adds: integrity, communication, quality, and continuous improvement. </li></ul>Schedule, Pay & Benefits<ul><li> Steady, full-time, W-2 Employee, year-round work </li><li> Flexible scheduling: 4-day or 5-day work week </li><li> Pay: $32.00 to $38.00/hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonus potential on individual jobs </li><li> $1,000 Sign-On Bonus </li><li> Company Profit-Sharing </li><li> 401(k) with 50% company match up to 5% of pay </li><li> Health Insurance with employer contribution; Dental & supplemental options </li><li> Company-paid Life Insurance </li><li> Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays in Year 1 + Paid Volunteer Day </li><li> Personal Tool Purchasing Program </li><li> Supportive, fun, and growth-minded team </li></ul>Blackdog Builders, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
