<div>JOB DESCRIPTION
A Senior DevOps and architecture professional is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and optimizing the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) systems and practices. They collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate and streamline operational processes, ensuring system stability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and has at least five years of experience in DevOps roles. They must be proficient in AWS, various CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, aligning with software development and deployment processes.</li><li>
Automate and optimize operational processes to reduce the risk of errors and increase efficiency.</li><li>
Collaborate with development teams to understand software features and technical implementation, ensuring architecture alignment with business requirements.</li><li>
Proactively monitor system performance and capacity management, ensuring system scalability, reliability, and efficiency.</li><li>
Ensure system security by collaborating with security teams and implementing secure DevOps practices.</li><li>
Conduct regular system audits to detect deviations from the established process, and implement corrective actions.</li><li>
Lead the definition and implementation of cloud architecture, including containerization and orchestration systems.</li><li>
Mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.</li><li>
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies.</li><li>
Production Support &amp; Incident Management: Respond to production issues, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability of critical systems. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and post-mortems, implement corrective actions, and participate in on-call rotations. Utilize logging and monitoring tools for proactive detection of system anomalies.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, including extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms.</li><li>
Project Management: Experience with agile project management and workflow tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar.</li><li>
Version Control: Proficiency in using Git or other version control systems.</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
Competencies:</h1><ul><li>
Technical Skills:<ul><li>
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, and others.</li><li>
Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration systems (Kubernetes).</li><li>
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.</li><li>
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Shell.</li><li>
Knowledge of system monitoring tools (like VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Grafana).</li><li>
Understanding of network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).</li><li>
Hands-on experience with logging and observability tools such as Loki, Elasticsearch, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or equivalent.</li><li>
Configuration &amp; Secret Management: HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, Kubernetes Secrets, SOPS.</li><li>
Load Balancing &amp; API Gateway: NGINX, HAProxy, AWS ALB/NLB, Azure Application Gateway, API Gateway concepts.</li><li>
Storage &amp; Databases: RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Software Design: Demonstrated proficiency in software design principles and patterns, with a focus on DevOps practices and principles.</li><li>
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.</li><li>
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>
Teamwork and Leadership: Proven ability to lead and work as part of a team, ability to mentor and guide junior team members.</li><li>
Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and time effectively.</li><li>
Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.</li><li>
Continuous Learning: Commitment to learning and keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps.</li><li>
Flexibility in Work Schedule: Willingness and ability to adjust work schedule as necessary to collaborate with team members in different time zones, meet project deadlines, or address urgent issues.</li><li>
Fluency in English: Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.</li></ul></div>
