We are looking for a Manufacturing Trainer to join our team in one of today&rsquo;s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Director, Stack and Column Manufacturing will be based in Fremont and Sunnyvale, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.</div><div>
Tactical Responsibilities</div><ul><li>
Create training profiles for new team members</li><li>
Maintain training records for team members</li><li>
Work with production team to develop training plan for manufacturing team members and assign team members to appropriate trainings</li><li>
Create and communicate training schedule</li><li>
Conduct training audits monthly</li><li>
Partner with HR and Safety to coordinate compliance training</li><li>
Work with subject matter experts to develop and maintain standardized work for current skill trainings</li><li>
Work with production team to create and conduct on-the-floor lean trainings</li><li><i>
Shadow current skills training (to be a backup as needed)</i></li><li>
Partner with Operations subject matter experts (SME) to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs)</li><li>
 Partner with Operations Management to design and develop, and support delivery and evaluation of technical training programs around Packaging, Process, and Maintenance.</li></ul><ul><li>
Deliver Train the Trainer training courses and on-going coaching support to operators providing OJT to new employees</li><li>
 Audit, spot check, and rectify compliance gaps on work instructions and training material where identified</li><li>
 Understand and support individual development needs and plans where required by Operations</li><li>
Drive continuous improvement in all Technical Learning &amp; Development processes</li></ul><div></div><div>
Strategic Initiatives</div><ul><li>
Develop and maintain a visual way to see training requirements vs. training certifications in station</li><li>
Develop and maintain a site-wide cross training matrix</li><li>
Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas for the skills training center</li><li>
Identify future skills training needs and work with team to develop new trainings for skills training center</li><li>
Support Lean Training curriculum</li></ul><div></div><div>
Skills and Experience:</div><ul><li>
BS degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing or Related Field.</li><li>
7+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment in a process/manufacturing/or operations/materials management role</li><li>
Required Skills:<ul><li>
Strong organization skills</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently</li><li>
Strong verbal, listening, presentation and written communications skills</li><li>
Strong Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite</li></ul></li><li>
Desired Skills:<ul><li>
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and hands-on problem-solving techniques</li><li>
Project management skills with teams made up of varying levels</li><li>
ATD certification preferred (Associate of Talent Development)</li></ul></li></ul><div></div><div>
