Blue Cardinal Photography is hiring for the role of Visual Media Designer! The Visual Media Designer is responsible for creating engaging, high-quality visual content that supports branding, marketing, and advertising efforts across print and digital platforms. This role combines photography, graphic design, and digital marketing skills to develop creative materials that enhance brand presence and support business goals.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design creative assets including graphics, advertisements, social media posts, digital graphics, programs, and print collateral.</li><li>Work with our photography team to capture and edit professional photography for marketing campaigns, social media, print materials, and client projects.</li><li>Collaborate with the Visual Media Supervisor to develop strategies that align with campaign goals and brand standards.</li><li>Manage and schedule social media content, ensuring consistent voice, design, and engagement under the direction from our Visual Media Supervisor.</li><li>Simple video editing with programs like Adobe and Canva to support in house digital materials.</li><li>Work with advertisers to create visually compelling ad layouts and campaigns.</li><li>Manage advertiser contacts and communication after direction from supervisors.</li><li>Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications.</li><li>Stay current with design, photography, and social media trends to keep content fresh and innovative.</li><li>Organize and manage media assets, including photography libraries, design files, and campaign archives.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>1+ year of experience in graphic design or related field. Entry level with a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Marketing will also be considered.</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro or similar).</li><li>Strong design and photography editing skills.</li><li>Experience with social media platforms, content scheduling, and analytics.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li><li>A strong portfolio showcasing photography, design, and digital media work. *You will be asked to send us your portfolio in a digital format. (website, PDF, Dropbox, etc.)</li></ul>Preferred Skills (nice to have):<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li>Photography skills with advanced camera equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of print production processes.</li><li>Experience with video production and editing.</li><li>Familiarity with advertising platforms (Google, Meta, etc.)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
