POSITION OVERVIEW:The Accounts Payable Specialist at Blue Landscape and Outdoor Solutions is responsible for our corporate credit card program, accounts payable, and various other finance and accounting functions. Key duties include implementing and owning the corporate credit card program, managing vendor setup and relationships, processing vendor invoices, conducting account reconciliations, distributing reports, and supporting fellow members of the finance and accounting team. This role also involves analyzing financial data, developing process improvements, and making recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Accounts Payable:&middot; Own the accounts payable function at Blue Landscape and Outdoor Solutions&middot; Analyze existing accounts payable processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy&middot; Set up new vendors in NetSuite&middot; Collect, maintain, and audit vendor W-9s and current insurance information&middot; Process and record purchase orders and vendor payments&middot; Ensure accounting for outgoing payments is appropriate&middot; Support the annual insurance audit process&middot; Analyze and report purchases subject to sales or use tax&middot; Maintain and reconcile company credit cards through RAMPOther Accounting and Finance Functions:&middot; Execute financial close activities, including accounting accruals and journal entries as well account reconciliations&middot; Record non-client cash receipts in NetSuite&middot; Update and distribute recurring reports with current information&middot; Assist with processing client invoices and collections as needed&middot; Work on special projects and support other members of the finance and accounting teamREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:&middot; 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounting&middot; Experience with accounting software&middot; Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)&middot; Effective prioritization and problem-solving skills&middot; Demonstrated ability to analyze the payables process and make recommendations&middot; Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:&middot; Associate's or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting or related field&middot; Experience with ERP systems&middot; Experience with NetSuite&middot; Experience with Aspire&middot; AP or accounting experience in construction or landscaping industries&middot; Experience in process improvement or project management within a finance functionJoin our team to contribute your expertise in a dynamic setting that values precision, compliance, and continuous improvement.
