Position OverviewBlue Moon Senior Counseling provides mental health counseling to seniors nationwide.We are opening a new Nevada office and seeking a full-time, in-office team member tosupport billing and financial operations. This small support team will work closely withour Chicago staff and founders to promote the mental health of America&rsquo;s seniorpopulation. This position will receive training and ongoing collaboration from ourexperienced Chicago administrative team while helping establish operations in the newVegas office.Job SummaryWe are seeking a positive, detail-oriented Medical Biller / Financial Assistant to join ourmental health administrative team. This full-time role is responsible for insurance claimsubmission and follow-up, payer enrollment and credentialing, maintaining accuratebilling reports, and supporting timely reimbursement. The ideal candidate is organized,accurate, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to supporting efficientadministrative workflows.Responsibilities- Support office workflow by assisting with phone calls, referrals, and relatedadministrative tasks as needed.- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before claim submission.- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies.- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies, issues, anddenials.- Contact insurance companies regarding payment discrepancies and claim statusupdates.- Review EOBs, remittance advice, and other payer correspondence.- Communicate with patients regarding outstanding balances and billing questions.- Assist with payer enrollment and electronic remittance setup.- Assist with provider onboarding, credentialing, documentation and monthlypaymentsRequired Experience and Qualifications- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and diagnosis documentation.- Knowledge of medical billing systems, processes, and payer requirements.- Familiarity with Medicare, commercial insurance and payer reimbursementguidelines- Ability to maintain compliance with internal policies and applicable regulatoryrequirements.- Familiarity with electronic medical records, client charts, and clinicaldocumentation.Preferred Skills- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail, able to managemultiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Medical billing or financial support experience, preferably in a healthcare ormental health setting.- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with a high level ofaccuracy in record-keeping and data entry.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.If you are organized, proactive, and committed to accuracy in medical billing, weencourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Pay: From $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>EMR systems: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Medical billing: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
