 The Manufacturing Process Manager oversees all plant manufacturing functions and focuses on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost reduction. The Manager supervises production staff and creates a successful team culture through coaching and mentoring. They are also accountable for various manufacturing key process indicators.

 High school diploma or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 5 years of manufacturing experience
 </li>
 <li>
 3 years of experience in a leadership position
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Background in the steel industry with hands-on experience in welding processes and techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated proficiency with technology and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite; must be capable of creating and managing spreadsheets, reports, and documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong computer literacy and ability to adapt to new systems and tools relevant to manufacturing operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Budget management background
 </li>
 <li>
 Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing quality work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enjoy hands-on roles and working with machinery or are eager to learn.
 </li>
 <li>
 Are comfortable working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Value safety, organization, and continuous improvement
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Drive continuous improvement initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage Compass shipping, scheduling, and delivery
 </li>
 <li>
 Report on weekly forecast tons and hours
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate quality changes, inspections, drawings, root cause and corrective action.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understand tolerances and fabrication requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create process goals and monitor efficiency
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer inventory control
 </li>
 <li>
 Mentor new hires and employee department transfers
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all inspections are complete
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain employee work schedules in payroll system
