Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Afternoon Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children. The Part-Time Afternoon Teacher will be responsible for managing classroom activities and supporting the developmental needs of students in a nurturing setting.Duties<ul><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.</li><li>Be kind and compassionate to the children</li><li>Provide individualized support to children</li><li>Foster communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.</li><li>Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>At least 18 years old.</li><li>Have reliable transportation to and from work.</li><li>Proven experience working with children preferably in preschool or daycare environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>Be compassionate, mature, nurturing and understanding of the children and their behaviors.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $9.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 20 per weekWork Location: In person
