Overview We are a locally owned Construction company seeking a full time Staff Accountant to join our team in person at our downtown Boise, ID location. This person will work with both the local Accounting/Finance team as well as liaison with other company personnel from around the country to complete a range of accounting responsibilities including but not limited to:Responsibilities<ul><li>General Ledger Maintenance &ndash; assist with preparing and maintaining company general ledger</li><li>Prepare and verify the accuracy of Journal Entries as needed &ndash; both Monthly and Ad Hoc</li><li>Perform Banking and Trial Balance account reconciliations</li><li>Prepare and file Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly state filings (withholding, unemployment, use tax, etc.)</li><li>Assist with Month End and Year end closing process</li><li>Perform Sales and Use tax research and administration</li><li>Fixed Asset Tracking and Internal Rent Reporting</li><li>Work In Process Reporting</li><li>Banking Admin &ndash; ACH Payments, Positive Pay Reporting, Borrowing Base Certificate, Cash Flow tracking, etc.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide information to stakeholders</li><li>Accounting Document organization</li><li>Assist with audit/review process &ndash; insurance, financial statements, etc.</li><li>Accounts Receivable Assistance as needed</li><li>Accounts Payable Assistance as needed</li><li>Office Admin Tasks as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred or combination of education/experience that demonstrates ability to perform required duties</li><li>Proven experience in accounting roles (minimum 2+ Years)</li><li>Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account reconciliation.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.</li><li>Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel</li><li>Experience using an accounting ERP (Deltek/ComputerEase or Vista Accounting software in particular a big plus)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Supplemental Pay:<ul><li>Yearly bonus</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Boise, ID 83702: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
