Job Purpose:
To fulfill the daily tasks of assisting with shipping needs. Ensuring that the correct product and correct product quantities are being shipped within BlueStar standards while helping to maintain a clean, safe and harmonious work environment.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist with completing &quot;Bill of Ladings&quot; for each shipment with meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>
Monitor order reporting to verify orders are Picked, Packed and Shipped in a FIFO manner daily.</li><li>
Assist with the organization of the Shipping Dock and Loading Process</li><li>
Assist with Picking/Packing large format displays</li><li>
Other duties as assigned by Shipping Manager.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Understanding of basic terms and processes involving FTL/LTL and international shipments.</li><li>
High attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>
Experience with Bills of Lading and a WMS system.</li><li>
Basic Computer and Microsoft Excel skills required.</li><li>
Good literacy, math and communication skills, well organized.</li><li>
Stand-up Forklift or Pallet Rider experience is a plus.
</li><li>Have the ability to lift 50+ pounds, from floor level to a bench top, and the ability to stand for 8 hours or more each day.</li><li>
The ability to read, identify, and comprehend alphanumeric part number schemes up to 30 characters long.
