This key role will be responsible for supporting pricing architecture, packaging, and monetization strategies for BMC's current product and services portfolio, as well as future innovation. </p><p>Oversee and manage the general ledger accounting functions.
</p><p>Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions from GAAP perspective.

</p><p>2. Month-End and Year-End Close:
</p><p>Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
</p><p>Prepare and post journal entries for ASC 840 / Ind As 116, capital leases, reclass, or entries related to reconciliations.
</p><p>Perform PL and BS account reconciliations along with variance analyses for certifications.
</p><p>Ensure variance analysis for all accounts before closing the books.
</p><p>3. Financial Reporting:
</p><p>Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
</p><p>Ensure compliance with USGAAP, IndAs or other relevant accounting standards.
</p><p>Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analyses.
</p><p>Ensure IGAAP related entries are posted and matched in system maintained for the same.
</p><p>3. Direct / Indirect Taxation:
</p><p>Compute the taxable income based on financial statement income and adjustments for tax purposes for advance tax also month close activities.
</p><p>Will be responsible for corporate tax packages on quarterly basis along with preparation and posting of journal entries to record the current tax expense along with deferred tax.
</p><p>Work with tax consultants for returns / notices for tax authorities.
</p><p>5. Internal Controls and Compliance:
</p><p>Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting regulations.
</p><p>Assist in preparation of SOX
</p><p>Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
</p><p>6. Process Improvement:
</p><p>Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in the accounting function.
</p><p>Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
</p><p>7. Team Leadership and Development:
</p><p>Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
