Overview Join our dynamic transportation team as a Dump Truck Driver and take charge of hauling materials efficiently and safely across various job sites. We are committed to providing a supportive workplace where your skills make a tangible impact every day.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and roll-off trucks to load, transport, and unload materials such as gravel, debris, or freight across designated routes.</li><li>Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of all cargo.</li><li>Follow established routes and schedules to deliver materials promptly while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.</li><li>Assist with the setup and breakdown of loads at job sites, ensuring proper placement for safety and efficiency.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical issues promptly.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial driving capacity.</li><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission operation; flatbeds, or freight trucks is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of route driving practices, traffic laws, and safety regulations related to heavy vehicle operation.</li><li>Previous delivery driver experience with a focus on route efficiency and customer service is preferred.</li><li>Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure ongoing safety and reliability.</li><li>Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road while maintaining high safety standards.
