 The Role
 
 
 
 We're looking for a Customer Experience Specialist who doesn't see the inbox as a queue - they see it as a room full of parents who need support, reassurance, and someone genuinely in their corner.
 
 
 This is not a transactional role. You won't be moving tickets from open to closed. You'll be building trust, one conversation at a time, with families in some of their most tender and high-stakes moments. You care about accuracy and warmth in equal measure. You notice the details others scroll past. And you're always thinking about how a single interaction can deepen the relationship between a parent and the brand.
 
 
 At the same time, you understand that caring deeply and operating efficiently aren't in conflict - they're the job. You bring thoughtfulness to every response and the discipline to move with purpose, manage your time well, and keep up with a real volume of people who need you.

 Our salaries are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. For fully remote roles, we have a single salary target per role that is differentiated based on geographic location (Group A, B, or C).
 
 
 Group A (SF/Bay Area, Seattle, NYC): $30/hr
 
 
 Group B (Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego, Philadelphia, Portland, Sacramento): $27/hr
 
 
 Group C (Albany, Atlanta, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Charleston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Miami, Milwaukee, Nashville, New Orleans, Omaha, Orlando, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Research Triangle, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, Tampa, Twin Cities): $25/hr

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter to join our team based out of Heath, OH as a Quality Assurance Technician. In this role the QA Technician will support in-process testing of liquid mix, bulk powder, and finished infant and toddler formula. This person will be responsible for sampling raw materials, testing liquid mix for pH and total solids, performing physical stability testing on bulk powder, testing the powder once canned and shipping samples to the appropriate testing lab. The QA Technician will also support keeping all labs clean, organized and stocked with needed supplies.

3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am

What you will accomplish:
<ul>
<li>Ensure food safety and quality of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and plant processes</li>
<li>Ensure clear communication with; and between, multiple departments on food safety and quality requirements and expectations</li>
<li>Be able to work cross functionally, and ensure effective collaboration</li>
<li>Ensure the laboratories are clean and well-organized at all times.</li>
<li>Conduct physical stability testing (e.g., bulk density, pH, moisture, undissolved particles etc.) on bulk powder.</li>
<li>Conduct final testing on finished goods (e.g., headspace oxygen, leaker testing, fill weight verification).</li>
<li>Sample incoming raw materials and entering data into the system to support release.</li>
<li>Place raw material, bulk powder and finished goods on hold as directed by Quality Management.</li>
</ul>
What we would like you to have:
<ul>
<li>Basic knowledge of current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's) required.</li>
<li>Degree and background in Microbiology, Chemistry or Food Science preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in an FDA regulated environment preferred.</li>
<li>Must be highly adaptable to changes in manufacturing.</li>
<li>Experience with DEACOM, Sartorius, CEM preferred.</li>

Our hourly rates are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. The hourly rate for this position is $28.00.
