Job Title: Yard Technician/Delivery DriverJob Type: Full-time, Hourly (non-exempt) position $22.00 - $25.00 DOEReports To: Branch Manager/COOYard/ Driver Job SummaryWithin the position you support the Rental Department, assisting with loading and unloading equipment from company vehicles and trailers, making deliveries and pick-ups when instructed, general cleanup of the facility, equipment, and utilities, and greeting and assisting customers in the yard.Bobcat Central Inc. offers EXCELLENT Benefits.&middot; Medical&middot; Dental&middot; Vision&middot; Optional Supplemental plans&middot; 401k matching&middot; Vacation/Sick Pay&middot; Paid HolidaysCore Duties &amp; ResponsibilitiesEquipment Handling &amp; Logistics<ul><li>Concrete Plant &amp; Mixer Operations: Run cement plant operations, operate 1-yard mixer, fill and transport mixer buggies, load materials and mix concrete, and maintain batching and mixing equipment</li><li>Safe Delivery &amp; Transport: Safely transport, unload, and load equipment using company vehicles and trailers. Assisting 3rd party trucking companies with loading/unloading as needed.</li><li>Staging: Organize and arrange equipment in designated areas of the yard to maximize space and ensure easy access for transport drivers.</li><li>Check-In/Check-Out: Inspect incoming equipment for damage, missing parts, or fluid leaks, and accurately report findings to the service or rental manager.</li><li>Logistics &amp; Data Recording: Accurately record machine hours, fuel consumed, and report details to the Inventory Manager upon equipment return.</li><li>Customer Service: Assist customers with locating, loading/unloading and providing basic operation instructions when necessary.</li></ul>Cleaning &amp; Detailing<ul><li>Pressure Washing: Thoroughly clean, power-wash, and degrease heavy machinery, vehicles, and attachments returned from rentals or prepping for sale.</li><li>Cab Detailing: Clean the interior of equipment cabs (vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows) to ensure a professional presentation.</li><li>Detailing: Apply touch-up paint or new decals to equipment as directed to maintain the company's branding and appearance standards.</li></ul>General Maintenance &amp; Support<ul><li>Fluid &amp; Filter Checks: Check and replenish all fluid levels (fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, DEF) and inspect filters before returning any machine to inventory.</li><li>Battery Maintenance: Jump-start dead batteries, clean terminals, and maintain the yard&rsquo;s battery charging station.</li><li>Basic Repairs: Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks, such as greasing pivot points, changing air filters, and checking tire pressure.</li><li>Equipment Assembly: Assist in the assembly and setup of new equipment as needed.</li><li>Tool Maintenance: Keep shop tools, pressure washers, and yard vehicles clean, organized, and in good working condition.</li></ul>Facility Upkeep &amp; Safety<ul><li>Yard Cleanliness: Keep the entire yard, wash bay, and shop areas free of debris, trash, and hazards.</li><li>Wash Bay Maintenance: Safely operate the pressure washer in strict compliance with safety instructions. Perform routine maintenance on the pressure washer and keep the wash bay area clean and free of hazards.</li><li>Waste Management: Safely dispose of hazardous materials (used oil, filters, batteries) according to company and environmental regulations.</li><li>Groundskeeping: Perform basic grounds maintenance, including weed control, snow removal from walkways/driveways, sweeping shop floors and daily emptying of trash and recyclables.</li><li>Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li></ul>Yard/ Driver Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities&middot; Bilingual (English &amp; Spanish) a plus.&middot; Knowledge of safe work procedures and practices.&middot; Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.&middot; Ability to work with limited supervision.&middot; Must be a well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person.&middot; Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.&middot; Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task.Physical Requirements &amp; Working Conditions<ul><li>Environment: Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).</li><li>Physical Strength: Must be able to lift 50&ndash;75 lbs. regularly and spend most of the shift standing, walking, climbing onto equipment, and bending.</li><li>Licensing: Valid driver&rsquo;s license required (Forklift certification or trailer towing experience is a major plus).</li></ul>Bobcat Central Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Work Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
