<b>Wage: </b>Starts at a base of $25.52/Hr. with a $2.00/Hr. shift differential<br>

<b>Position Overview: </b>The Maintenance Line Technician supports production staff with the proper and efficient operation of all production machinery. This position requires a strong working knowledge of the mechanics and maintenance of production machinery.</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><div><b><br>
Essential Job Functions:</b></div><ul>
<li>Ensures proper machine set up and line speed metrics for all production lines.</li>
<li>Ensures equipment performance and efficiency and assists maintenance personnel with equipment repairs.</li>
<li>Monitors production line equipment for maximum performance and production.</li>
<li>Communicates with and trains Machine Operators on packaging equipment.</li>
<li>Assists all maintenance personnel with projects and related tasks.</li>
<li>Assembles and disassembles equipment for repair, changeovers, and cleanouts.</li>
<li>Documents repairs and adjustments in applicable reports, forms, and logs.</li>
<li>Initiates requests for parts and equipment in coordination with the Maintenance Coordinator.</li>
<li>Performs basic planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs to packaging equipment.</li>
<li>Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.</li>
<li>Complies with Bob&rsquo;s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).</li>
<li>Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.</li>
<li>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.</li>
</ul><div><b>Supervisory Responsibilities:</b></div><ul>

<li>This position reports to the Maintenance Foreman.</li></ul><br>

<li>Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.</li>
<li>Ability to read, understand, and communicate operational and safety information in English.</li>

<li>Ability to work in an environment where exposure to potential food allergens is or may be present.</li>
</ul><div><b>Education and Experience:</b></div><ul>
<li>1 or more years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, AND</li>
<li>2 or more years of maintenance experience, AND</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent; OR</li>
<li>Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.</li>
</ul><div><b>Physical Demands:</b></div><ul>
<li>Frequently will be required to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.</li>
<li>Frequently requires the ability to climb ladders and stairways.</li>
<li>Position will require standing for up to 4 hours at a time.</li>
<li>Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li>
</ul><div><b>Work Environment:</b></div><ul>
<li>This position will perform work within all areas of the facility and may be exposed to dust, dirt, grease and extremes and difference in temperature.</li>

Key Responsibilities</b></h3><div><b><br>
Essential Job Functions:</b></div><ul>
<li>Performs inventory cycle counts.</li>
<li>Identifies and reconciles minor discrepancies when discovered.</li>
<li>Escalates major discrepancies as needed.</li>
<li>Works with department managers to maintain accurate inventory information.</li>
<li>Responsible for directing the flow of damaged merchandise.</li>
<li>Works closely with other departments to facilitate issue resolution.</li>
<li>Serves as back-up for at least one other area of focus within the Inventory Control department.</li>
<li>Runs and shares predefined daily and weekly reports.</li>
<li>Maintains nonconformances and works closely with other departments to facilitate issue resolution.</li>
<li>Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.</li>
<li>Complies with Bob&rsquo;s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).</li>

<li>Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.</li>
<li>Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification.</li>
</ul><div><b>Physical Demands:</b></div><ul>
<li>Frequently requires the ability to lift and stack products weighing up to 10 pounds.</li>
<li>Occasionally requires the ability to lift and stack products weighing up to 55 pounds.</li>
<li>Position may require standing for up to 4 hours at a time.</li>
<li>Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li>
</ul><div><b>Work Environment:</b></div><ul>
<li>The primary work environment for this position is within a food manufacturing and warehouse setting.</li>
<li>Use of personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, helmets, eye protection, earplugs, and hairnets are mandatory, and the use of non-slip shoes is recommended.</li>
<li>Employees will be exposed to common food allergens.</li></ul><br>
