<b>Position Overview:</b> The Technical Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering technology initiatives that support and enable Bob&rsquo;s Red Mill&rsquo;s business operations. This role is responsible for leading application‑focused projects&mdash;including implementation, enhancement, deployment, and optimization&mdash;while also establishing foundational project management practices within the IT department, and Bob&rsquo;s Red Mill as a whole. The Technical Project Manager will help define how technology projects are planned, executed, communicated, and measured. While assisting in building a foundation for all project management at Bob&rsquo;s Red Mill This position partners closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><div><b><br>
Essential Job Functions:</b></div><ul>
<li>Leads end‑to‑end delivery of IT and cross-departmental projects, with a primary focus on application implementation, enhancement, integration, and operational improvement.</li>
<li>Manages project intake, scoping, planning, execution, and close‑out using consistent project management methodologies.</li>
<li>Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and translate business needs into actionable technical project plans.</li>
<li>Coordinates cross‑functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and external vendors.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains detailed project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports.</li>
<li>Facilitates project meetings, including kickoffs, status reviews, risk escalations, and retrospectives.</li>
<li>Tracks project progress, identifies risks and dependencies, and proactively recommends mitigation strategies.</li>
<li>Supports application deployments by coordinating testing, change management activities, training readiness, and go‑live execution.</li>
<li>Establishes and refines foundational project management processes, tools, templates, and reporting standards for IT.</li>
<li>Assist in establishing project management software and application uses, including workflows and data reporting.</li>
<li>Promotes visibility, transparency, and accountability across all initiatives.</li>
<li>Continuously evaluates and improves project delivery practices based on lessons learned and team feedback.</li>
<li>Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.</li>
<li>Complies with Bob&rsquo;s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).</li>
<li>Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.</li>
<li>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.</li>

<li>Proficiency with common project management tools/applications (Azure DevOps, MS Project, MS Planner)</li>

</ul><div><b>Education and Experience:</b></div><ul>
<li>5 or more years of project management experience, with a focus on technology or application-based projects <b>AND</b></li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field; <b>OR</b></li>
<li>Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.</li>
</ul><div><b>Preferred Skills:</b></div><ul>
<li>Experience implementing or improving enterprise applications such as ERP (Dynamics365), Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Analytics Systems</li>
<li>Experience establishing or evolving project management processes in a growing organization.</li>
<li>Project management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, CompTIA Project +, PSM)</li>
<li>Experience with using and configuring project management tools (Azure DevOps, MS Project, MS Planner)</li>
<li>Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies</li>
</ul><div> <b>Physical Demands:</b>
</div><ul><li>Position requires the ability to sit for up to approximately two hours at a time, and retrieve information and documents from department staff within and outside the office area.</li>
<li>May be required to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.</li>

<li>The primary work environment for this position is within an office setting. There are no adverse conditions associated with this position.</li>
