As a Supplier Performance Agent at Bombardier, within the Purchasing and Supplier Management division and the Supplier Management NA department, you lead supplier site visits, resolve performance challenges, and drive improvement strategies. Reporting to the Leader, Supplier Performance, you coordinate PO alignment, risk mitigation, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure smooth production flow.</p><br>
<p></p><ul><li>
 Lead visits at key supplier sites to analyze performance issues, and coordinate improvement strategies inclusive of PO alignment, process improvements and quality system improvements.</li><li>
Expedite all critical parts at critical suppliers to clear all roadblocks and ensure zero disruption to the production line.</li><li>
Work with the supplier to establish a back to PO plan through harmonized lines of balance and ensure a daily follow up.</li><li>
Align with all key internal stakeholders and prepare a clear mandate for the supplier intervention, regularly follow up on the mandate and ensure a smooth handover.</li><li>
Identify supplier improvement and risk mitigation opportunities at key supplier sites and manage these improvement activities.</li><li>
Drive execution of supplier performance improvement plans and interface with internal and external partners to collaboratively pursue solutions and closure of action plans.</li><li>
Work closely with Procurement, Quality, and Operations stakeholders to create supplier development plans centered on quality, delivery, capacity and supplier process capability.</li><li>
Provide regular feedback to all relevant stakeholders on supplier support progress through.</li><li>
Effectively communicates to internal and external groups and ensure appropriate escalation.</li><li>
Conduct a very thorough capacity / capability onsite review at the supplier and establish a clear action plan to address all the gaps.</li><li>
Coordinate your own work travel plans by doing the reservation, follow up, expense claim and financial review.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations management or equivalent experience.</li><li>
You have a minimum of ten (10) years experience.</li><li>
You must be ready to travel up to 70% of the time.</li><li>
You have strong manufacturing and production knowledge and experience.</li><li>
You have experience working with sub-tiers.</li><li>
You are extremely independent and able to work with new supplier with minimal information.</li><li>
You have experience in project planning and coordination involving several sectors.</li><li>
 Your computer skills in MS Power point, Excel and Word are expert level.</li><li>
You are able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize.</li><li>
You have a strong sense of ethics and are customer focused.</li><li>
You have a good analytical, planning, problem solving and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
You have operational and financial management knowledge (asset).</li><li>
You understand the business relationship &amp; dynamics between the Supplier and Bombardier.</li><li>

Short Description</b></h2></div><div><p>
Bombardier Defense is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Defense Supply Chain Proposal Agent to lead and manage all aspects of supply chain proposal activities in support of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), allied government, and global defense pursuits. This role will serve as a key liaison between cross-functional teams and will work closely with the defense supply chain procurement team to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely proposal submissions. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of U.S. DoD regulations, global compliance requirements, and flow-down clauses applicable to the aerospace and defense industry</p></div></div><div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3></div><div><ul><li>
Lead the planning, coordination, and submission of all supply chain proposal inputs in response to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.</li><li>
Partner with procurement, contracts, engineering, finance, legal, and program management to ensure proposal accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness.</li><li>
 Interpret and flow down FAR, DFARS, and international contract requirements into supplier RFP packages and BOE justifications.</li><li>
 Establish and maintain a centralized pipeline view of all current and upcoming defense supply chain proposal activities.</li><li>
Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and reporting on proposal progress, risks, and resource needs.</li><li>
Support make-or-buy analysis, supplier quoting, and cost estimating strategies aligned with Bombardier&rsquo;s defense business objectives</li><li>
Review and validate supplier inputs to ensure cost realism, historical pricing alignment, and compliance with DoD cost principles</li><li>
 Participate in internal and customer-facing proposal reviews, audits, and fact-finding activities.</li><li>
Ensure export control and ITAR/EAR compliance throughout the proposal lifecycle.</li><li>
 Maintain documentation to support DCAA/DCMA audit readiness</li><li>
Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal development processes and tools.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Required Qualifications</b></h3></div><div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>
 Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal, procurement, or supply chain roles; prior proposal experience preferred.</li><li>
Familiarity with the U.S. DoD acquisition process, including RFP structures, flow-downs, and compliance standards.</li><li>
Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and international defense contracting practices.</li><li>
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality deliverables.</li><li>
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.</li><li>
U.S. Citizenship required due to contract and security requirements</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Experience in the Aerospace &amp; Defense industry or a government contracting environment.</li><li>
 Knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulations, Cybersecurity compliance (CMMC), and supply chain security principles.</li><li>
Understanding of cost estimating, supplier negotiations, and BOE development in a defense context.</li><li>
