What are your contributions to the team?</b></h3></div><div><ul><li>Support U.S. DoD and Global Defense supply chain proposal activities, including developing and reviewing procurement strategies for bids and contracts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with DoD and Global Defense regulations, including preparing for Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) and building compliant Purchase Order (PO) packages.</li><li>Advise and mentor the procurement team on best practices for defense-related sourcing, subcontracting, and risk management.</li><li>Serve as the primary liaison between procurement and cross-functional teams, including legal, program office, engineering, and proposal teams, to align on requirements and resolve issues.</li><li>Manage supply chain subcontracting processes, including negotiating Terms and Conditions (T&rsquo;s &amp; C&rsquo;s) and Statements of Work (SOW&rsquo;s).</li><li>Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks in defense projects, ensuring adherence to federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and defense federal acquisition regulation supplement (DFARS).</li><li>Contribute to process improvements, training programs, and documentation to build DoD expertise within the team.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in aerospace and defense procurement.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
How to thrive in this role?</b></h3></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPCM, or DAWIA Level II/III) preferred.</li><li>7-10+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years focused on U.S. DoD supply chain and compliance in aerospace or defense sectors.</li><li>Proven expertise in DoD proposal support, CPSR readiness, and creating compliant PO packages.</li><li>Strong knowledge of supply chain subcontracting, including T&rsquo;s &amp; C&rsquo;s, SOW&rsquo;s, and vendor management.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for advising teams and liaising with stakeholders.</li><li>Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and other relevant defense regulations.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a small team environment while handling multiple priorities.</li><li>Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, contract management platforms).</li><li>Experience as a prime or subcontractor in DoD projects.</li><li>Background in global defense supply chains beyond the U.S.</li><li>Analytical mindset with a track record of process optimization.</li><li>You have knowledge / experience as a Supply Chain representative supporting Global Defense / DoD proposals.</li><li>You are familiar with the U.S. DoD acquisition process, including RFP structures, flow-downs, and compliance standards.</li><li>You are familiar with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).</li><li>You have experience in the Aerospace &amp; Defense industry or a government contracting environment.</li><li>You have knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulations, Cybersecurity compliance (CMMC), and supply chain security principles.</li><li>You have an understanding of cost estimating, supplier negotiations, and BOE development in a defense context.</li><li>You have experience with proposal pricing tools (e.g., ProPricer) and reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI).</li></ul></div></div></div><p><b>

Lead the planning, coordination, and submission of all supply chain proposal inputs in response to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.</li><li>
Partner with procurement, contracts, engineering, finance, legal, and program management to ensure proposal accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness.</li><li>
Interpret and flow down FAR, DFARS, and international contract requirements into supplier RFP packages and BOE justifications.</li><li>
Establish and maintain a centralized pipeline view of all current and upcoming defense supply chain proposal activities.</li><li>
Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and reporting on proposal progress, risks, and resource needs.</li><li>
Support make-or-buy analysis, supplier quoting, and cost estimating strategies aligned with Bombardier&rsquo;s defense business objectives.</li><li>
Review and validate supplier inputs to ensure cost realism, historical pricing alignment, and compliance with DoD cost principles.</li><li>
Participate in internal and customer-facing proposal reviews, audits, and fact-finding activities.</li><li>
Ensure export control and ITAR/EAR compliance throughout the proposal lifecycle.</li><li>
