In the role of Temporary Procurement Assistant on our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for receiving requisitions from Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) teams, entering pertinent data into SAP ERP and generating purchase orders. Other duties include sending purchase orders to suppliers and following up as needed; providing detailed and time-sensitive administrative support due to the nature of the MRO process and inherent requirements generated from multiple bids, Certificate of Analysis (COA), appropriate approvals, and maintaining detailed documentation for auditing. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Receive MRO requisitions and enter them into SAP to generate purchase orders;</li>
<li>Send POs to suppliers and follow up as needed;</li>
<li>Navigate the MRO process, which is time-intensive due to requirements like COAs, multiple bids, approvals, and audit trail documentation.</li>

Location &amp; Hours

This part-time temporary role may be performed in a hybrid capacity with time in our Hopland offices especially during initial training and onboarding. Future opportunity for remote work may be considered. Average hours per week are estimated to be 20 hours/week with the potential of increasing to 32 hours/week depending on workload and schedules. We anticipate the assignment to last through the end of 2025/early 2026.

Must Requirements
<ul>
<li>Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred with 1-2+ years of related professional or administrative experience; or equivalent education/experience combination</li>
<li>Strong administrative and time management skills with ability to manage one&rsquo;s own time schedule and resources needed to complete tasks according to expectations</li>
<li>Microsoft 365 Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; email and database applications; Internet and related programs</li>
<li>Ability to be trained in SAP and demonstrate mastery of tasks</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, independently plan, coordinate and complete projects with accuracy and within designated timeframe</li>
<li>Communication: Requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts, employees, vendors and guests</li>

During busy periods, effort will be made to provide employees with adequate advance notice should overtime become necessary. All overtime work must have the prior authorization of the employee&rsquo;s supervisor before it is performed.

Preferred
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of large-scale ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) highly desirable</li>
<li>Bilingual English/Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) a big plus, but not required</li>
<li>Advanced Excel skills with working knowledge of more complex functions (pivot tables; look ups)_</li>

Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. on an occasional basis; push and pull up to 30 lbs. on an occasional basis; ability to sit and work at a desk for long periods of time; requires ability to walk and stand; reach outward and upward, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend; requires hand and finger dexterity for keyboarding and working at computer for extended periods of time.

Compensation The hourly range for this role is $25 to $30 per hour. Actual rates will vary and are based on a candidate&rsquo;s relevant education, qualifications, experience, skillset, competencies, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.
